2026 Midseason TV Schedule: Premiere Dates for New and Returning Series
The midseason 2026 TV schedule is packed — so when will your favorite series return?
On ABC, Grey’s Anatomy is back following the dramatic season 22 fall finale, which left Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) emergency C-section in a state of uncertainty. The teaser for the upcoming episodes suggests potential challenges ahead for her character.
Season 22 experienced significant shifts as the show reduced its veteran cast’s minimum episode guarantees from 18 to 14. Consequently, some of Grey’s Anatomy‘s regulars will miss four episodes, while Caterina Scorsone will be absent for eight.
On CBS, Yellowstone is growing with a spinoff centering around Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes). Titled Marshals and debuting in March, it follows Kayce as he transitions from ranching to joining a specialized unit of the U.S. Marshals. He will leverage his cowboy and Navy SEAL skills to pursue justice in Montana, managing the complexities of family and duty amid the psychological toll of serving as the region’s last defense against violence.
CBS’ NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney were originally scheduled to return in February; however, they have now been postponed by a week.
