A subjective twist in the plot aside, Dressed to Kill has endured somewhat poorly in its 40 years, yet it remains an engaging neo-noir thriller; director Brian De Palma excels in crafting stylish, funny, and compelling narratives filled with lurid mysteries, making Dressed to Kill a must-see for fans of B-movie excitement.

Adapted from the Archie Comics series, Josie and the Pussycats follows struggling musicians Josie McCoy (Rachael Leigh Cook), Melody Valentine (Tara Reid), and Valerie Brown (Rosario Dawson) as they rise to fame under music executive Wyatt Frame’s (Alan Cumming) direction. Initially a box office disappointment, Josie and the Pussycats has since been rediscovered as a cult favorite, acclaimed for its sharp parody of American consumer culture, keenly insightful on product placement and the commercialization of the music industry. These key moments peel back the layers of the man and the myth—portraying a ruthless entrepreneur, a passionate inventor, a distant genius, and a neglectful father who revolutionized the world.
