Catch a Glimpse of Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep Filming Devil Wears Prada 2 in NYC!
Fashion season has officially kicked off in New York City with the filming of The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Anne Hathaway was seen on set on Monday, July 21, stepping into her role as Andy Sachs for the sequel. She elevated her fashion game, wearing a denim maxi skirt, paired with a white tank top, a black vest, and black sandals while exploring the city.
Just two days later, Meryl Streep reprised her role as the formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. During filming on Wednesday, July 23, Streep was photographed in a stunning purple blouse, a copper Gabriela Hearst manuela skirt, and matching heels, completed with a chic camel-colored trench coat.
Staying true to her iconic character from 2006, she accessorized with oversized Jimmy Choo sunglasses and a Briony Raymond diamond ring.
On Friday, July 25, Hathaway and Streep reunited on set for the first time, both looking effortlessly stylish.
The original film followed the journey of recent graduate and aspiring journalist Andy as she navigated life as an assistant to the fierce and demanding Miranda at Runway. Although a fashion career wasn’t her initial dream, she quickly became Miranda’s shining star while juggling the editor’s unique demands.
The last time audiences saw them together, Andy had resigned as Miranda’s assistant. The plot details of the sequel, directed by the original’s David Frankel, remain a mystery—especially regarding why their paths have crossed once more.
