Bravo Officially Begins Filming Summer House Spinoff Set in the City

Bravo is broadening the Summer House universe once more.

On Wednesday, September 17, the network revealed that In the City is officially in production. Bravo teased the series with a first look clip showing cameras being turned off in Montauk — only to resume in the Big Apple.

“In the city that never sleeps, a group of New Yorkers confronts significant life changes — marriage, parenthood, reinvention, and the challenge of growing up without drifting apart,” the official show description stated. “Can they have it all, or must they choose between their established lives and the unexpected futures ahead?”

There’s currently no confirmation on which Summer House stars, if any, will transition to In the City, but the teaser features the voice of star Kyle Cooke.

Summer House premiered in 2017, and not all cast members have enjoyed extended stays in the Hamptons. The inaugural season, featuring Kyle Cooke, Cristina Gibson, Lindsay Hubbard, Stephen McGee, Carl Radke, Jaclyn Shuman, Everett Weston, and twins Ashley and Lauren Wirkus, first aired on Bravo in January 2017. Summer House began its journey in 2017 with a backdoor pilot on Vanderpump Rules before evolving into a popular show on Bravo (with season 10 set to launch in 2026). The series follows a group of friends sharing a Hamptons house on weekends during the summer. Over the years, Kyle, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, and Lindsay Hubbard have remained original members throughout 10 seasons, while the series has also spawned Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard and Winter House.

The announcement of In the City follows the completion of filming for season 10, which picks up after Paige DeSorbo announced her exit in June after seven seasons. Kyle, Amanda, Carl, Wes Wilson, and Jesse Solomon will welcome new faces for season 10. Lindsay, who had a baby in December 2024, is also expected to make appearances.

“I have a little life update: I’ve decided not to return to Summer House,” Paige disclosed on her Instagram Stories. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the laughs, all unforgettable.”

Paige, age 32, conveyed her excitement for future projects, stating, “You’ve seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I’m eternally grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild journey has afforded me. But like all good things (and some poor choices), it’s time for this chapter to close.”

Season 9 newcomers Imrul Hassan and Lexi Wood also revealed they would not be returning.

“I meant to share this last week, but with everything happening, it didn’t feel like the right time. I’ve decided not to return for another season of Summer House — I know, shocking!” Imrul wrote in his Instagram Story in June. “It was an incredible opportunity, and I genuinely had a lot of fun.”

He continued, “I won’t drag this out, but I want to express my thanks for all your support — and for backing my foundation as well. A special thank you to my castmates for their generous contributions and for helping spread the word. Overall, it was a truly positive experience. Would recommend.”

Lexi, on the other hand, decided against returning after a tumultuous season 9 with Jesse.

“Well… that wasn’t the summer I expected, but it definitely taught me a lot,” she wrote in her Instagram Story in June. “I stood up for women and what’s right, even when it was challenging, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well… maybe just one). I’m proud of how I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from, and even prouder of what I’m heading towards. Big things are coming! Stay tuned!”
