Big Brother Showmances: Update on Their Lives Today

Initially, America and Cory’s relationship appeared to be just a “fauxmance” or a “flirtmance” according to some Big Brother fans. However, their heartfelt conversations and cuddling soon blossomed into a genuine connection. During a Diary Room confession, America admitted that she spent the Pressure Cooker competition thinking about Cory.

A growing number of Big Brother fans began to support the couple, dubbing them “AmeriCory.” They shared their first kiss in September 2023, solidifying their relationship soon after.

In October 2023, America and Cory found themselves on the chopping block together, with Cory ultimately sent to the jury house. However, their separation didn’t last long as America was the second houseguest eliminated during a Double Eviction just one week later.

After their exits, both Cory and America expressed optimism about their relationship outside of the Big Brother house. “I’m very hopeful about our future, and if it doesn’t pan out, that’s fine,” Cory said. “But she’s amazing, and I don’t want to start our relationship [away from the game] thinking that ‘Oh no, everything will be different.’ … She’s wonderful. I believe it can work.”

America echoed his feelings a week later, stating, “I know we’re going to be incredibly solid.” She told Us, “I am thrilled to discover what we can do outside of here. We created a list during the season of things to watch, experience, and places to visit together. More than anything, I just can’t wait to see him again and do all these things with him.”

As of July 2024, America and Cory are cohabitating in Nashville.

“After being apart for two weeks, I thought, ‘This is not great. I should move to Nashville,’” America shared with Us Weekly. “I moved here on January 1 and found my own apartment. Cory lived nearby at his dorm. We did that for about five months before he moved in after the last semester. We’ve been living together for three to four months now.”
