Alix Earle Addresses Val Chmerkovskiy Rumors Ahead of DWTS Rehearsals
Alix Earle keeps it genuine.
Earle, 24, candidly shared her feelings about an emotional evening spent doing her makeup in her car before Dancing With the Stars rehearsals.
“Is something in the air? I cried myself to sleep last night and woke up crying again today,” she mentioned while applying her skincare products.
Following that, she used her Estée Lauder waterproof foundation, dabbing it gently into her skin. To add some color, she applied Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Pocket Blush to her cheeks.
She mentioned that although she’s “taking advantage” of her time in Los Angeles and isn’t “missing” Miami, she feels overwhelmed by her commitments.
“I feel like I’m getting a lot done work-wise here,” she said while applying blush with her fingers. “But the issue is I’m not turning things down. My mental health took a hit this week, but I think I’m just processing a lot of emotions.”

As she continued her makeup routine, Earle brightened her forehead, under-eye area, and around her nose with concealer. “I never cry, so I’m like, ‘What’s happening? Why am I feeling so overwhelmed?’”
The makeup maven then spritzed her face with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray before contouring her nose with the Victoria Beckham Beauty Stylus Contouring Stick.
Addressing the speculation surrounding her relationship with Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy, Earle picked up a large, fluffy brush and swirled it into her bronzer before applying it to her skin.
“It’s amusing because it feels like we’re becoming best friends. We both have sarcastic personalities, and it probably comes off as if we can’t stand each other,” she laughed while setting her makeup with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder.
“Val’s been amazing. I shared with him my struggles, and he gifted me these evil eye bracelets,” she revealed, mentioning the pendant’s believed power to fend off negative energy.
To complete her look, Earle curled her lashes, applied mascara, and lined her lips.
“Shades on, emotions off,” she quipped.
Rumors about Earle and Chmerkovskiy, 39, having a strained relationship started circulating after Page Six reported that he felt “miserable” working with her on Tuesday, September 23.
Chmerkovskiy quickly dismissed these rumors on TikTok, noting, “😂😂 The reach here is wild.”
He reiterated, “Enjoy the views. None of this was actually said; Alix is an absolute pleasure to work with!”
In the second week of Dancing With the Stars, Earle and Chmerkovskiy performed a jive to Lou Bega’s “Mambo No. 5,” earning a score of 21 out of 30 and making it through the night’s double elimination. Baron Davis paired with pro Britt Stewart, as well as Corey Feldman with pro Jenna Johnson, were sent home.
