What Special Forces Stars Missed Most After Filming Wrapped Up
Taking part in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test serves as a sharp reminder for all contestants to appreciate the little things in life.
Before a fresh set of celebrities test their mental and physical resilience on Fox’s reality series, Us Weekly inquired about what the cast craved the moment they returned home after the competition.
A common sentiment among many contestants was the desire for a satisfying meal.
“As a foodie, I love to eat,” NFL star Randall Cobb expressed to Us before the season premiere on Thursday, September 25. “Returning home for sushi and visiting my favorite restaurants? I really needed that.”
Mark Estes and Brianna “Chickenfry” Lapaglia both craved real meals as soon as they were back in their hometowns. Meanwhile, model Chanel Iman couldn’t hold off until her flight was over.
“Having a cheeseburger at the airport was like, ‘What?!’” she joked to Us. “This cheeseburger was the best ever!”
After previously competing in Special Forces, Savannah Chrisley shared her insight into the difficult food conditions faced by contestants.
“The food was terrible, especially in such a high-stress situation,” she told Us in October 2023. “I was like, ‘I need food, sleep, and a shower.’ None of those essentials were really available. That was definitely the hardest part for me.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is back on Fox Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET. Keep reading to find out what season 4’s cast missed the most:
Teresa and Gia Giudice
While Gia was eager for “a shower and a frickin’ bar of soap,” Teresa was looking forward to getting back to her skincare routine.
“I would say skincare,” she told Us. “With all the dirt we were around, I was breaking out. My skin was not happy.”
Shawn Johnson and Andrew East
As soon as Shawn reached home in Nashville, Tennessee, she rushed to the shower, while her husband was more focused on food.
“Food with any flavor was what I was so excited about,” Andrew told Us. “The meals there were bland.”
Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker
After camped out on cots, Jessie couldn’t wait to return to her warm, cozy bed, while Eric was eager to indulge in his favorite dishes.
“For me, it was food,” he said. “We had sushi the first night, then steak and potatoes. I devoured a cheeseburger.”
Eva Marcille
“Moisturizer!” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Us. “In 115-degree heat in full military gear, I experienced cornea burn. I didn’t know you could sunburn your eyes. Moisturizing my face and lips? It was pure bliss.”
Kody Brown
“Honestly, I missed the presence of my wife,” Kody revealed. “Coming home felt like a spiritual journey. You’re making me emotional.”
Jussie Smollett
“I couldn’t wait to see my fiancé [Jabari Redd],” Jussie disclosed. “He was the first person I called and FaceTimed.”
Brittany Cartwright
“My son [Cruz] for sure,” The Valley star said to Us. “Not having a cell phone was quite the experience since I’m used to checking it constantly.”
Christie Pearce Rampone
“I appreciated having a nice cup of coffee when I got home,” the soccer player confessed.
