Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Celebrate Their Daughter’s Birthday Post-Split

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker came together for their daughter Blaze’s 6th birthday just one day after announcing their divorce.

People reported that the estranged couple hosted a Snow White-themed celebration for Blaze at Ready, Set FUN! in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, November 22. The publication shared a photo of Burruss and Tucker with Blaze, who looked adorable in a princess dress. (The former partners are also parents to an 8-year-old son, Ace; Kandi has an older daughter, Next Gen NYC star Riley Burruss, 23, from a prior relationship.)

Both Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 53, took to Instagram on Saturday to share their individual birthday wishes for Blaze.

“Happy birthday to my little twin @blazetucker!!! Time is flying by! I can’t believe you’re already six years old… so strong, smart, talented, creative, with a big personality, & a winner! My beautiful little princess,” Burruss captioned a collection of photos. “I love you so much. Everyone send @blazetucker some birthday love!”

Tucker also shared a series of photos, along with his own birthday message: “Happy Birthday to my Baby Blaze! She [is] my Beautiful little princess! She brings joy to my heart every time I see her. @blazetucker where did the time go 6 yrs old! Daddy loves you with all his heart!!!”

The day before Blaze’s birthday celebration, Burruss confirmed her separation from Tucker after spending 11 years married.

“After careful consideration and a lot of prayer, I’ve decided to proceed with a divorce. This is a challenging and emotional period, but my priority is to maintain my peace, be the best mother I can be, and co-parent with love and respect,” Burruss shared with Us Weekly.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum added, “I’m entering a new chapter where I will focus on my work, family, and personal growth. I’m thankful for everyone who has supported us over the years and kindly ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we transition as a family.”

The unexpected announcement of their separation came just a week after Burruss paid tribute to Tucker during her acceptance of the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on November 14. She thanked Tucker for supporting her through the challenges of being a Housewife.

“To Todd, thank you for enduring the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truths, the almost fights, and the real ones,” she said with a laugh. “You deserve this award as well.”

In April 2024, the former couple addressed fresh rumors of a split soon after Burruss announced her exit from RHOA. (The singer-songwriter had been a part of Atlanta’s Housewives for 14 seasons before stepping down in February 2024.)

“It’s tough. You’re always in the spotlight and can’t really relax in public,” Tucker told Us exclusively. “But for me, having done reality TV with her early on, it’s something I’ve learned to ignore. We know our truth.”

Previously, Burruss attributed the strength of their marriage to effective communication.

“He’s a better communicator than I am. When I get upset, I tend to shut down,” she confessed. “I hesitate to speak until I’ve fully calmed down, fearing I might say something harsh. He, however, prefers to communicate and work through issues. He’s essential in helping us navigate those moments.”

Tucker added, “I try to put myself in her position… It requires a lot of effort but it’s enjoyable. Ten years flew by! It could have felt long, but it has been a remarkable journey.”

Burruss met Tucker while he was a line producer on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They married in April 2014 at Le Fais Do-Do in Atlanta and later welcomed son Ace in January 2016 and daughter Blaze in November 2019.
