Gia Giudice hopes that more family members will get the opportunity to join Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
“Honestly, I’d love to see my dad [Joe Giudice] and [my sister] Milania take part. It would be absolutely perfect,” Gia, 24, shared exclusively with Us Weekly after celebrating her season 4 victory alongside Shawn Johnson East. “Milania definitely needs some tough love. And my dad could use it too. They both do.”
While the Next Gen NYC star believes her family members would provide excitement, they would also deliver plenty of laughs.
“Watching the two of them together on Special Forces,” Gia continued, “would be like a comedy show.”
In season 4 of the Fox reality series, Gia was accompanied by her mom, Teresa Giudice, as they attempted to conquer challenging training exercises led by an elite group of former Special Forces operatives.
Though Teresa, 53, was eliminated early in the season, Gia persevered and made it all the way to the finale.
Upon returning home to New Jersey, the Bravo reality star received a heartwarming welcome from her “happy” mother.
“When I got home, it was adorable. We got our phones back shortly after, and I called her to say, ‘I won,’” Gia reminisced. “She cried, screamed, and was so thrilled. When I arrived home, there was a big banner with balloons that read ‘Special Forces winner.’ It was so sweet.”
Gia’s father also expressed immense pride in his eldest daughter for making it to the end. (Teresa and Joe, 53, are also parents to Gabrielle, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 16.)
“[My dad] was overjoyed. He’s so sweet. He watches every episode week after week, texting me like, ‘G, I love you. G, you’re so strong. This is amazing,’” Gia remembered. “Then he adds, ‘I can’t believe you did this. That was insane.’ He finds it amusing whenever I break down during the challenges.”
One of the most memorable reactions came from Gia’s boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, who often expressed his desire to participate when watching her tackle various tasks.
“He’s always saying, ‘This looks amazing. I would do this for free.’ And I’m like, ‘You have no idea,’” Gia laughed. “Do you think we did that for just five minutes? Nope, we did it for five hours.”
During the season finale on Thursday, Kody Brown, Brianna LaPaglia, Andrew East, Shawn, 33, and Gia were the last recruits remaining. They first underwent a rigorous interrogation following a simulated capture scenario.
Next, the remaining contestants faced a simulated burial.
“It’s strange watching the finale again. We won, and that sense of achievement was incredible — receiving recognition from the Directing Staff,” Gia described. “It was almost like my processing moment, realizing, ‘Oh, I did it. I crossed the finish line.’”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is available for streaming on Hulu.
