Ant Anstead’s Son Creates a Heartfelt Mother’s Day Card for Renee Zellweger
Ant Anstead is providing a look into how his son, Hudson, honored the maternal figures in his life.
Anstead, 47, captured a moment of his 6-year-old son penning cards for someone special during Mother’s Day weekend.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums and Bonus mums out there shaping, teaching, nurturing, healing, and raising wonderful little people!” Anstead — who shares Hudson with ex-wife Christina Haack — posted on Instagram on Sunday, May 10. “Hudzo is one very lucky boy! And I am too …! He was thrilled to pick out his cards and flowers this morning! He is truly blessed x.”
In one snapshot, Hudson can be seen starting a handwritten card with “Nay Nay,” likely a nickname for his dad’s girlfriend, Renée Zellweger.
Another image showcased Hudson with a large bouquet of flowers while seated in the backseat of a car.
“Sweetest Boy!!!” Haack, 42, commented on the photo before posting her own picture with Hudson by a pool.
Anstead and Haack were married for nearly two years before they announced their separation in September 2020. They co-parent effectively and celebrate their son’s major milestones, including the conclusion of soccer season.
“Last game and a solid 1-1 draw!” Anstead shared via Instagram on Saturday, May 9, as his son earned a team award. “Let’s go Hudzo! X.”
Outside of parenting, both Haack and Anstead have found new love after their separation.
Haack went public with her boyfriend Christopher Larocca at the start of 2025 and recently enjoyed a trip to Paris together while she continues to expand her Clé Cachée champagne business.
“Paris for 72 hours with those I love and admire. I never take this life for granted,” Haack mentioned on Instagram on Friday, May 8. “A few years ago I faced severe anxiety and battled with my mind. I feel grateful to be doing what I cherish with people I adore, in peace 🙏🤍. And yes, @clecacheechampagne rosé is coming soon 🙌🩷.”
As for Anstead, he recently celebrated five years with Zellweger, 57, sharing a heartfelt social media post featuring his girlfriend.
“How it started…,” he posted on Instagram on April 23 along with a photo from their meet-cute on Celebrity IOU Joyride. “Happy FIVE YEAR anniversary my beautiful lady! You are, without a doubt, the best person I know! I’m the luckiest! I love you my Ren 💫❤️ x.”
