Audrey McGraw Takes the Stage at a Concert to Sing
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter honored her parents with an unexpected appearance at her father’s recent concert.
“Words can’t fully express how honored I felt to sing my mama’s song last night, especially at dad’s show,” Audrey McGraw shared on Instagram on Saturday, July 26. “Being your daughter is an endless gift. I love you both so much and am always proud and inspired by you. Thank you for sharing this wild life with us. Forever proud to be a road dawg! ♾️.”
She added, “And shout out to The Dance Hall Doctors, the best band out there!! Family always. Love ya! 🖤🖤🖤.”
Audrey, 24, included a black-and-white clip of herself passionately singing the lyrics to Hill’s 2002 hit “Stronger.”
“So cry for me baby, and I’ll cry for you / And we’ll both break down and we’ll both break through / We’ll find our way and we’ll face the truth / We both will be stronger,” Audrey sang in the video. “And we’ll lie down in our loneliness / And wake up with our sad regrets / Even though we don’t know it yet / We both will be stronger / We both will be stronger.”
She then shared a picture smiling alongside Tim, who held his guitar backstage with a big grin.
“LOVE YOU DAD!!! Jone’s Beach was incredible!” she captioned a Saturday Instagram post. “Thanks for having me out there. Forever proud of you. 🖤🪽✨.”
Tim and Hill, who married in 1996, welcomed their first child, daughter Gracie, in 1997. They later had Maggie and Audrey in 1998 and 2001, respectively.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill may be country music stars, but at home, they are simply mom and dad.
Audrey, who is treading a similar path to her parents, took the opportunity in March at a concert in Las Vegas to honor them.
“Coming from a Mississippi woman and a Louisiana man, who just got inducted into the Country Hall of Fame,” Audrey stated of Tim and Hill onstage that evening. “I’m just so immensely proud of my dad and both of my parents. I love them dearly.”
Tim has also expressed his admiration for his daughters over the years.
“I’d love for us to record a song together as a family someday. I talk about it constantly, but they say, ‘I ain’t singing with you, Dad,’” Tim told Entertainment Tonight in a 2023 interview. “They’ll sing with Mom, but I’m probably not good enough compared to them. They bring the fun every time they’re around and inspire us endlessly.”
