Siesta Key’s Kelsey Owens Welcomes a Rainbow Baby After Giving Birth
Siesta Key alum Kelsey Owens and her husband, Max Strong, welcomed their rainbow baby on Wednesday, August 26, following a miscarriage they experienced in 2025.
“Our lives were forever changed. Words cannot fully capture the love we feel to call ourselves your parents,” Kelsey, 29, shared on Instagram on Sunday, August 30, announcing their daughter’s arrival and revealing her name: Blaine Grace. “We love you more than you’ll ever know, sweet girl, and we pledge to spend every day of our lives showing you just how cherished you are.”
Kelsey and Max revealed their pregnancy in February.
“The best parts of both of us… in one tiny heartbeat 🤍,” they wrote on Instagram at that time.
The following month, the couple discovered they were expecting a baby girl.
“I’ve always been someone who cherishes moments, so when it was time for your gender reveal, I knew I wanted more than just a countdown and smoke cannons,” Kelsey expressed in a Instagram letter to her unborn child in March. “I wanted something I could hold onto forever—something that would remind me of that special moment.”
She continued, “In our backyard, at the home we’ve filled with laughter and memories, surrounded by your aunts, uncles, and grandparents, we realized you are our beautiful baby girl 💗. I’ve dreamed of having a little girl my entire life! Hair bows, kitchen dance parties, inside jokes just for us, and teaming up to drive your daddy wild.”
Kelsey and Max tied the knot in 2024 after four years of dating. The couple shared that Kelsey had suffered a miscarriage the following year.
“This past week was really challenging. Max and I have been trying to conceive, and we learned in August that we were expecting,” Kelsey shared in a September 2025 social media video. “I found out yesterday that I miscarried. I want to send love to every woman who has gone through this; you are not alone. This can feel isolating since we’re often told not to share until after 12 weeks. Regardless, this baby is a part of my story.”
At that time, Kelsey became emotional while admitting it was “the first time” she had been pregnant.
“It will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m praying for others experiencing this to have healthy, beautiful babies one day — and that I will too,” she tearfully remarked. “Please keep me in your thoughts, and I’ll be praying for all the other women going through similar experiences.”
