Cassie Shows Her Support for Alex Fine in a Rare Public Outing

Cassie and her husband Alex Fine recently made a rare joint appearance more than a year after their testimony in the high-profile trial connected to her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The singer, known as Casandra Ventura, attended the Season 2 premiere of MobLand at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London on Thursday, September 10, to support Fine, 33, who plays Donnie in the crime drama alongside Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren.

At the event, Cassie, 40, dazzled in a grey, form-fitting dress while posing next to Fine, who chose an all-black outfit.

The couple, married since 2019, have two daughters—Frankie Stone Fine, 6, and Sunny Cinco Fine, 5—and welcomed a son in May 2025, just weeks following her testimony in the Diddy trial. Since the conclusion of the case, Cassie and Fine have largely retreated from the public eye.

Combs was arrested in September 2024 and faced charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. For four days, a heavily pregnant Cassie provided her testimony against him, alleging physical and sexual abuse during their on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018. (Diddy has denied all accusations.)

Ultimately, Diddy was found guilty of transportation for prostitution, although he was acquitted of the more serious charges and sentenced to four years in federal prison. His legal team has sought to appeal the conviction.

Throughout the legal proceedings, Fine stood by Cassie’s side. After her 20 hours of testimony, he expressed his support through a statement released by his attorney, Douglas Wigdo, outside the courthouse.

“Over the past five days, the world has witnessed the strength and bravery of my wife as she frees herself from her past,” Fine stated in May 2025. “There has been speculation online regarding how I felt sitting there listening to my wife’s testimony.”

He added, “I experienced so many emotions. I felt immense pride and deep love for Cass. I also felt profound anger that she had to face a person who tried to break her.”

While he did not mention Diddy by name, Fine’s statement appeared to be directed at the disgraced music mogul and those who endeavored to harm Cassie: “To him and all who supported him, please understand this: You did not break her spirit or her smile, which brightens every room. You did not shatter the soul of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our daughters. You did not break the woman who has transformed me into a better man.”

Since the trial, it seems the couple has left the U.S. for good. In court documents obtained by Us in June 2026, Cassie stated that she is “not a resident of California.”

According to the documents, the singer now resides “outside of the United States” and does “not plan to return.”
