Celebrity Name That Tune Season 6: Stars and Matchups Unveiled!
Celebrity Name That Tune is set to launch its sixth season featuring a brand new bandleader and an impressive lineup of contestants, including Brian Austin Green, Chrishell Stause, Phaedra Parks, and others.
Us has the exclusive scoop on the celebrity roster and matchups for the season 6 premiere scheduled for September 21. The talented Jane Krakowski returns as the host of the beloved Fox game show, while Robin Thicke makes his debut as the bandleader, taking over from Randy Jackson.
“Robin Thicke has infused the show with fresh energy. He brings so many smooth vocals … along with some dad jokes,” Krakowski, 57, shares in the first look at season 6. “It’s all about bright lights, celebrities, and it’s all for charity. I’m constantly amazed by the celebrities’ music knowledge.”
Celebrity Name That Tune challenges contestants’ music expertise as they engage in a series of difficult musical games for a chance to win over $100,000 for their selected charity.
“Each one-hour episode of Celebrity Name That Tune consists of two independent half-hour contests, where two players—either celebrity or civilian duos—face off to showcase their knowledge of songs played by the live band,” the official show synopsis explains. “Each contest includes a rotating selection of games from the original format, culminating in the iconic Bid-a-Note round.”
The synopsis further describes: “The player with the highest earnings at the end of Bid-a-Note wins the game and carries their earnings into the Golden Medley bonus round, offering a chance to win additional cash and possibly the life-changing $100,000 grand prize.”
Celebrity Name That Tune will premiere on Fox on Monday, September 21, at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming available the following day on Hulu.
