Alix Earle Regrets Alex Cooper Feud Wasn’t Edited Out of New Show
Alix Earle has finally opened up about the reasons behind her feud with Alex Cooper in her new show, Earle Meets World — but she’s already feeling some remorse.
A clip shared by People shows Alix, 25, and her sister Ashtin Earle discussing which storylines they would eliminate from their new Netflix series if they could. In response, Alix was seen writing “Alex” on her whiteboard.
The influencers previously collaborated when Alix launched her “Hot Mess” podcast in September 2023 under Cooper’s Unwell Network, which was ultimately discontinued in February 2025 amid rumors of tensions between Cooper, 32, and Alix.
“Obviously, there’s been a lot of chatter online this week regarding my work. And honestly, I have no clue what’s happening,” Alix shared on TikTok at the time. “I don’t particularly want to delve into all the specifics, and I truly can’t discuss them at this moment, but I’ve treasured the experience and I’m very proud of what I achieved with the podcast.”
Cooper, meanwhile, has mostly kept quiet about the status of their friendship. A source later informed Us that there was significant “tension” between the two once they began collaborating.
“They faced a lot of drama ever since they opted to work together on Unwell,” a second insider revealed. “They clashed over professional matters, leading to the collapse of their friendship.”
Earlier this year, Alix was noticed reposting a critical TikTok about Cooper, which prompted the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host to issue a public statement.
“I’m really exhausted by waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to divert attention from your own issues. I’m not interested. I know the truth, and so do you,” Cooper stated in an April TikTok video. “If you have something to say, say it. Unless the fabricated story you’re spinning is more captivating than reality. I have nothing to conceal when it comes to us.”
Cooper encouraged Alix to be “specific” about their problems, saying, “Just get it off your chest. There’s no NDA, and no one is holding you back. Stop leaning on others and just speak for yourself. What’s the issue?”
She concluded: “Unless you actually have something to share, I’m done. This is finished. Have a pleasant Monday, everyone.”
Alix seemed ready to reveal her side of the story, replying in the comments, “Okay, I’m on it!”
When Earle Meets World debuted on Friday, September 4, fans were finally privy to Alix’s perspective on the situation.
“There [were] just a constant stream of issues. It simply wasn’t well managed. It was not at all what I had been promised or led to believe regarding collaboration with them,” Alix explained about her professional relationship with Cooper. “There are personal dynamics and then there are work-related issues — both went awry. Initially, I was so enamored with her that I didn’t realize things were turning sour. I thought, ‘This is my idol! I’m overjoyed to work with her!’ But eventually, I felt exploited, taken for granted, and manipulated.”
Alix pointed specifically to a podcast episode she recorded with Cooper, where discussions became “quite sexual” as they began drinking on camera.
“I can see it from her perspective, taking a college student who is impressionable and idolizes you, and then posing these risqué questions, which I was somewhat uncomfortable with,” Alix recounted in a confessional. “Some of that content was something I asked to be removed post-interview, but she thought it was hilarious. It’s content I didn’t want permanently on the internet. That definitely hurt me; it still hurts now. At that moment, I just thought, ‘She’s looking out for me.’”
Alix went on: “My future kids will see that, and it impacted all of us. After that interview, when we discussed personal experiences, I cried with her. I expressed my gratitude and how meaningful it was to share my story with someone I admired. It just makes me feel like a total loser. I was so thrilled and thought I was accomplishing something good, and yet I ended up causing harm to all of us.”
Cooper has not yet addressed any of Alix’s remarks. Earle Meets World is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
