How Sofia Vergara Achieved Her Radiant Look at the Golden Globes: Insights from Her Makeup Artist
Sofía Vergara captivated the audience with her stunning glam at the 2025 Golden Globes.
At 52, Vergara radiated elegance at the prestigious awards event, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 5. Thanks to the talented celebrity makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani, Vergara’s makeup beautifully complemented her exquisite Georges Chakra gown.
To create the actress’ luminous base, Bedrani utilized La Prairie’s Skin Caviar collection, focusing on the Liquid Lift serum. ”I aimed to create the perfect canvas, as flawless, long-lasting makeup relies on well-prepared skin,” Bedrani shared with Us Weekly.
Beginning with the luxurious beauty brand’s Caviar Mist, she misted Vergara’s skin, which “instantly refreshed and energized her,” according to Bedrani. She followed with the Eye Lift serum and cream, gently applying the product around Vergara’s eyes using a chilled metal spatula, a method that aids in lifting and depuffing the under-eye area.
“To maximize the skincare routine’s effectiveness, I incorporated the Skin Caviar Essence-in-Lotion as a pre-serum step,” Bedrani explained to Us. “Next, I applied two drops of the new Skin Caviar Liquid Lift serum to Sofia’s face and neck, using lifting and sculpting techniques along her cheekbones and jawline.”
Following this, the makeup artist formed an “’S’ movement between the brows and upward gliding strokes on the forehead to craft a sculpted and lifted effect — elevating and redefining the eyebrows. It’s incredibly transformative.”
For the final skincare touch, Bedrani gently massaged the Skin Caviar Lixe Cream into Vergara’s face, using upward motions to enhance her features. “This opulent cream instantly revitalized her complexion, rendering her skin radiant and perfectly prepped for makeup.”
Vergara’s makeup included filled-in brows, bronzed winged eyeshadow, long lashes, and soft pink lips. She added a touch of sparkle with diamond earrings and a matching necklace from Lorraine Schwartz. Nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor, Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for her acclaimed role in Netflix’s Griselda, Vergara finished her look with sleek, straightened hair. (The award ultimately went to Jodie Foster for her performance in True Detective: Night Country.)
