Benny Blanco Gives Selena Gomez a Hilarious Makeup Makeover: “I Nailed It!”
Selena Gomez placed her makeup trust in the hands of her fiancé Benny Blanco.
On Thursday, March 5, Gomez, 32, took to social media to share a funny clip featuring Blanco, 36, as he applied her makeup using products from her cosmetics line, Rare Beauty.
“Hi!” Gomez exclaimed as Blanco entered the scene.
“Where do I start?” he asked while examining the array of products laid out for him. Gomez looked at the camera with a concerned expression since she already had filled-in eyebrows and foundation on.
Initially, Blanco grabbed the True to Myself Tinted Pressed Finishing Powder, questioning if he should apply it with his fingers.
“Well, there are brushes,” Gomez replied.
Using a face brush, he applied the powder along the bridge of her nose, patting himself on the back for choosing the right shade. Gomez burst into laughter, amused by his application technique.
“Yeah, going over the face with some powder [is] good, babe! Now I’m proud,” she praised as Blanco coated the rest of her face in powder.
Gomez then turned the camera to Blanco, who grinned mischievously while lifting a bottle of the Soft Pinch Liquid Contour, which left Gomez in shock.
“I’m going to put this on you,” Blanco giggled. Once Gomez clarified that it was contour and not foundation, he asked, “What am I contorting?” He then applied the bronzer directly onto her cheekbones, making her laugh.
Blanco, seemingly unaware of how pigmented Gomez’s products are, tried to blend the contour but ended up smearing it across her face.
“Why isn’t it working?!” Blanco exclaimed. “When you do it, it always looks so good.”
Gomez then paused the video and suggested Blanco to use a lip oil, which he praised for being “so smooth” as he applied it to her lips.
Next, he highlighted her cheeks, chin, and nose as Gomez cringed at how much product he was applying.
Using his finger, he blended the highlighter, declaring it looked “cute” on his fiancée, but Gomez shot him a side-eye.
Before finishing her look with the Always An Optimist 4-in-1 Prime & Set Mist, Blanco took a terracotta tinted highlighter and drew it across her jawline.
“I think it looks pretty good!” Blanco said, patting himself on the back. “You look hot.” Gomez zoomed in on her face and made a face before ending the video.

Fans quickly joined in on the laughter in the comments. “Wait, I think I did well,” Blanco wrote. One fan giggled, “The look of ‘oh no, he found the contour.’” Another follower quipped, “😂 he doesn’t know how pigmented rare is 🤣,” while a third commented that the video was “SO entertaining.”
