Aesha Scott from Below Deck Appears on WWHL with a Themed Cocktail

Below Deck Mediterranean star Aesha Scott is leveraging her experience as chief stew to craft her own cocktail, which has made its debut on Bravo.

In the episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that aired on Monday, April 7, Below Deck Down Under‘s Lara Rigby and former Below Deck Med cast member Mzi Dempers discussed the latest twists and turns in the franchise. (In case you missed it, Below Deck Down Under took an unexpected turn when Alesia Harris accidentally shared a bed with Wihan du Toit, prompting Johnny Arvanitis to confront them aggressively.)

While addressing audience questions about future developments, the guests were introduced to a cocktail crafted by Aesha, which was served by guest bartender Analiese Bradshaw, a research associate producer for WWHL. This Chief Stew cocktail, featuring Canada Dry Fruit Splash, is part of a season-long collaboration with Below Deck.

Throughout the years, Bravo fans have witnessed a revolving door of Below Deck Mediterranean cast members — each of whom has contributed to the on-screen drama. Since its debut in 2016, the spinoff series found a staple in chief stew Hannah Ferrier, who appeared for five seasons in the popular franchise.

The Chief Stew Recipe

Ingredients:

1 shot vanilla vodka
1 shot cherry brandy
1 shot sweet vermouth
1 shot Canada Dry Fruit Splash

Preparation:

Begin by filling a martini glass with ice. Combine the vodka, brandy, and vermouth in a cocktail shaker. Transfer the ice from the glass to the shaker and shake thoroughly, optionally including a few drops of Wonderfoam (or omit for a foam-free version). Pour a splash of sweet vermouth into the glass, swirl to coat, and discard the excess. Finally, strain the shaken mixture into the martini glass and top with Canada Dry Cherry Fruit Splash. For garnish, add two maraschino cherries on a cocktail pick.
