On the field, wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. is a celebrated three-time Super Bowl champion, and off the field, he takes pride in being a devoted father.
In February 2023, Hardman Jr. welcomed his son, Mecole Hardman III, with his then-girlfriend Chariah Gordon. During Super Bowl LVII, while the action unfolded, Gordon went into labor, and Hardman Jr. had the unique experience of cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs from the hospital as they secured the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
“Welcome to the world, our healthy baby boy, while witnessing the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory!! I couldn’t be happier!” Hardman Jr. shared on Instagram, posting a photo of himself and Gordon with their newborn. “A proud father and a 2x Super Bowl Champion! Thank you all for your prayers and support ❤️🥂⭐️🎈.”
A year later, the Chiefs made their return to the Super Bowl, and Hardman Jr. played a pivotal role, catching the game-winning pass in overtime as they triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22.
In early 2024, Hardman Jr. and Gordon welcomed their second child, daughter Ci, and got engaged that June.
