A Look at All the Guests Spotlighted in Meghan Markle’s Netflix Series
Meghan Markle warmly welcomes several notable personalities and shares her culinary and crafting secrets in Netflix’s With Love, Meghan.
“I love feeding people… it’s my love language,” Meghan stated in the series, which premiered on the streaming platform in March 2025. “The joy of cooking for someone and watching their delight when they eat it is unmatched.”
In the inaugural episode, the Duchess of Sussex prepared for an overnight visit from Daniel Martin, her Suits makeup artist and lifelong friend. (Meghan departed from the series after season 7 in 2018, the same year she wed husband Prince Harry; together, they have son Archie and daughter Lilibet.)
Speaking to the camera, Meghan expressed her passion for hosting, emphasizing every detail from the guest room setup to ensuring “what’s in the bathroom makes for a lovely soak.”
“For me, the joy of hosting is surprising people with thoughtful touches that enhance their experience from morning to night,” she remarked, sharing her favorite compliment from a guest: “I had the best sleep.”

Daniel Martin
Meghan expressed that her and Harry’s children affectionately refer to Martin as “Uncle Daniel,” noting that he was “in my life for all seasons, shall we say,” alluding to her time as a senior royal. Upon his arrival, they reminisced about their shared history—until Martin cut himself while slicing a tomato. “I can glam you up, but can’t cut a tomato!” he joked.
Reflecting on the early days of Meghan’s time on Suits, Martin recalled his agent telling him that Meghan had directly reached out, revealing that she didn’t have representation and spent her time off-set working on The Tig.
Meghan shared that she used to text Martin for fashion advice, inquiring about the latest trends. Returning to the subject of food, Martin declared that Meghan’s skillet spaghetti is “so f***ing good,” adding, “Your love shines through your cooking.”
While whipping up a honey lemon cake, Meghan admitted that baking isn’t her “favorite,” yet she would do it for “one of my favorite people.” As she iced the cake, Martin reminisced about Meghan and Harry’s wedding cake—he was part of the cake testing.
“You’ve always sent me home with amazing goodies,” he noted, to which Meghan replied, “It’s about doing things intentionally for those you love.”
Martin also appeared in the show’s second season, which aired in August 2025.
Mindy Kaling
After connecting on Meghan’s podcast, Kaling and Meghan became “email pen pals,” bonding over their children. (Kaling is a mother to daughters Katherine, 7, and Anne, 12 months, as well as son Spencer, 4.) “Having mom friends is essential,” Meghan emphasized.
Enjoying a frittata and champagne with Meghan’s homemade preserves, Kaling remarked that being gifted Meghan’s jam was “one of the most glamorous moments of my life,” though she was intrigued by the numbers on the jars.
“As a very hierarchical person, I was like, ‘Who are these people? Does a lower number mean I’m more special?’” Kaling quipped, to which Meghan replied, “It wasn’t a ranking! … I just wanted to share them, but people took it personally.”
As they began making tea sandwiches for a mock kids’ tea party, Meghan shared her childhood experience as a latchkey kid, accustomed to fast food and TV dinners while watching Jeopardy. She mentioned her favorite fast food places, including “Pollo Loco, Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza, Jack in the Box tacos,” to which Kaling exclaimed, “Meghan Markle loves Jack in the Box!”
“It’s funny how you keep saying Markle,” Meghan interjected. “You know it’s Sussex now. Having kids makes you realize, ‘I share my name with my children.’ It’s meaningful; it represents our family.”
The two connected over their lengthy careers in television—The Office for Kaling and Suits for Meghan—while sipping white tea infused with fresh mint from the garden. “I love making friends,” Meghan said.
Roy Choi
Meghan welcomed L.A. chef Choi to her kitchen to make Korean fried chicken and an array of pickles, including pickled watermelon, pickled strawberries, and kimchi. Choi expressed his admiration, saying he’s a “huge fan” of Meghan, and they embraced, sharing a connection over their Los Angeles upbringing.
Delfina Blaquier
Blaquier, the wife of Harry’s friend Nachos Figuera, joined Meghan for a hike and a meal. Meghan praised Blaquier as “more beautiful on the inside than the outside,” adding, “She’s a stunner—her spirit is gorgeous.”
While enjoying a post-hike meal, Meghan noted, “Our husbands would be so jealous that we relished this without them.” Blaquier squeezed Meghan’s hand, declaring, “I loved seeing you be yourself this morning. I’m obsessed with that face of M. So happy!”
Abigail Spencer
Meghan hosted Spencer and Kelly Zajfen for a ladies’ brunch. Spencer, who met Meghan during an audition in 2007, referred to her as “head of morale” on Suits. Meghan agreed, adding that she enjoyed planning fun activities for everyone, and they recognized they had “been through a lot.”

As they made potstickers together, Tsai complimented Meghan, saying, “You are always the hostess with the mostest. I love coming here because you make it feel like home and a community.”
The pair discussed mom guilt and imperfections, where Tsai noted, “Perfect isn’t beautiful. Things that have lived and been put back together again are more beautiful.” Meghan was visibly moved by this observation.
Wrapping up their day with blooming tea, Tsai remarked that their former selves “would be proud.” Meghan added, “In ten years, where will we be? I don’t know, but it’s going to be fantastic!”
“I wouldn’t have made it this far without you! I’m so grateful,” Tsai expressed, to which Meghan replied, “Same here, we’ve been through a lot!”
Alice Waters
When Meghan met the acclaimed chef, she couldn’t help but fangirl. “I feel like you’re watching me fall in love. This is so awkward,” she said.
After making quiches and a salad, Meghan got emotional thanking Waters for her visit. “Your presence means so much to me,” she said, adding, “This has been an absolute treat.”

“I feel like we’ve lived so many chapters, and that one’s particularly important and funny,” Teigen recalled. “I remember being a backup girl [on Deal or No Deal] and then becoming an alternate, and eventually the banker.”
Meghan added, “I left that show, and shortly after, you became famous. I saw you on the cover of Sports Illustrated. You were so adorable sitting back there.”
Teigen’s husband, Legend, made a brief appearance to greet Meghan, adding to the warm atmosphere.
