Aaron Nosler from The Valley Gave Michelle Saniei an Ultimatum Prior to Their Split
Michelle Saniei faced an ultimatum from Aaron Nosler before their relationship reached its conclusion.
On Thursday, July 24, Us Weekly confirmed exclusively that the couple ended their relationship after one year, prompting fans to revisit a recent discussion from The Valley where Aaron, 38, shared concerns about Michelle’s estranged husband, Jesse Lally.
“Aaron said to me, ‘I love you, I love Isabella. I want us to be a family one day, but I can’t handle a crazy ex-husband like that,’” Michelle, 36, told Scheana Shay in a May 20 episode of The Valley. “He mentioned, ‘If nothing changes, it might be better for us to part ways.’”
Throughout season 2 of Bravo’s popular reality series, the cameras documented Michelle and Jesse, 45, as they continued their divorce proceedings while striving to be effective coparents to their 5-year-old daughter, Isabella.
After the former couple had a heated argument during a cast trip to Santa Barbara, California, Michelle reached out to Aaron to share what had transpired.
On the show, Aaron revealed he “didn’t sleep at all” after learning about Jesse’s behavior during the vacation.
“I know he’ll always be around… it’s something I find hard to accept,” he expressed.
During the show, Michelle shared her gratitude for a second chance at love amid the struggles of her divorce.
“I find someone who respects and loves me, and things are going well, but I have a psycho ex-husband who texts and calls me 100 times a day,” she commented. “Naturally, this puts a strain on our relationship.”
Navigating daily interactions with Jesse caused Michelle “a lot of anxiety” and led her to question the future of her relationship with Aaron.
“I thought, ‘You’re going to leave me because Jesse’s an ass? … I won’t let that happen,’” she remarked during the May 20 episode of The Valley.
A source later confirmed to Us Weekly that Michelle “is in the process of moving out” of Aaron’s home following their breakup.
In the meantime, a second insider noted that Michelle is “focusing on her daughter, work, and self-care as she transitions into this new phase of her life.”
Neither Michelle nor Aaron have publicly addressed the reasons behind their separation. It’s likely that at least some aftermath of the breakup will unfold in season 3.
The Valley airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Stream previous episodes anytime on Peacock.
