Adam Sandler’s Daughter Sunny Shines with a Song at Comedy Show
Adam Sandler experienced a heartwarming moment as his daughter, Sunny Sandler, graced the stage at his recent comedy performance.
Sunny, 16 years old, took part in Adam’s You’re My Best Friend Tour stop at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Sunday, October 5, delivering a rendition of Gabby Barrett’s 2020 hit “I Hope.” Accompanying her on guitar, Adam, 59, wore a Hawaiian shirt and red track pants, all the while beaming with pride as he watched her perform, as captured in viral footage shared on TikTok on Tuesday, October 7.
The audience cheered loudly for Sunny, who was dressed in jeans and a white and green short-sleeved T-shirt, as she sang the chorus with enthusiasm.
Viewers in the comments section were equally supportive of the talented teen.
One user praised Adam for raising “Nepo babies with actual talent,” highlighting the dedication to his daughters’ success. Another fan remarked, “Looks like her mama, and sings like her daddy.”
Sunny’s passion for singing has been evident from a young age, with Adam supporting her throughout his comedy career. In 2019, Sunny performed “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman alongside her father during one of his shows, earning a warm standing ovation.
Later that October, both Sunny and Sadie joined Adam for a charity event where they sang a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Lover.” Adam, in turn, mentioned that it was one of his daughters’ “favorite songs,” making that moment even more memorable.
“They were eager to participate,” Adam said after the performance. “Girls, you did great! You sounded awesome — confident and cool. I love you, now get out of here.”
Both Sadie and Sunny have also ventured into acting over the years. Sadie made her film debut as a toddler in the 2008 comedy You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, while Sunny joined her older sister in Grown Ups two years later.
Since then, both have appeared alongside their dad in films like Hubie Halloween, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, and Happy Gilmore 2.
In a July interview with USA Today, Adam expressed his pride in working with his daughters.
“It’s happening quickly. The kids are growing up—they’re genuinely pursuing acting and movies, and it’s always been our thing to collaborate with our friends and family,” he shared. “It’s incredible to see them improve. They’re dedicated, attend school for it, and have a passion for it. I’m just proud. I couldn’t love them more.”
That same month, he told E! News about how much it means to him to see Sadie and Sunny chasing their dreams.
“Oh, my God, you just feel relieved. Once they nail it, there’s no better feeling as a parent,” Adam said. “It’s like being the parent of a baseball player watching them get a hit—you’re just grateful. It’s an immense relief.”
