Alix Earle Playfully Talks About Her Glow-in-the-Dark Veneers
Alix Earle is making light of her veneers.
The 25-year-old influencer took to TikTok on Tuesday, January 20, to post a video of herself grinning in what seemed to be a dim club, while T.I.’s track “Whatever You Like” played in the background.
“No, I don’t have veneers, why do you ask?” Earle quipped as her artificial teeth illuminated in the dark.
In her caption, she remarked, “Glow in the dark giving me away.”
Earle first discussed her experience with veneers—and her regrets about the choice—in a TikTok video from July 2025.
“I never wanted to share my experience because I regretted it right away,” she confessed. “I don’t want to influence others to make decisions I think are not ideal.”
Earle revealed she used Invisalign during her senior year of high school but never wore braces beforehand. This treatment caused two of her teeth to look “shorter” than the others, leading her to try “composite bonding,” which added length but also made them brittle.
“I’m an anxious person, and sometimes if I have a nightmare, I’ll grind my teeth in my sleep—and they would crack,” she explained. “It happened quite often, really.”
Later, as her TikTok following grew during her senior year of college, she opted to get veneers. Although she initially wanted only two, a dentist persuaded her to go for 10.
“Honestly, it was quite emotional for me,” she said, fighting back tears. “I regretted it almost immediately, and I felt scared, thinking, ‘What did I just do?’ I had good teeth, and now I have to maintain this for the rest of my life.”
Earle mentioned that her veneers resemble her natural teeth, leaving her questioning, “Why did I even choose to do that?”
“I don’t regret many things, but this is definitely a decision I wish I could take back,” she reiterated. “At the end of the day, it was my choice, but it felt like a spur-of-the-moment decision that I didn’t fully consider or discuss enough.”
Earle also thanked Kate Hudson for supporting her through a terrifying moment when one of her teeth cracked at a social event on the Ritz-Carlton cruise. She was sipping a margarita through a straw and chatting with the 46-year-old actress when the mishap occurred. Earle’s TikTok video captured her attempt to remedy the problem by filing down her tooth.
“Thank goodness for her; otherwise, I would have been alone, worrying about my tooth,” she said, praising the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star for her kindness.
Earle, who boasts 8.3 million followers on TikTok and competed on Dancing With the Stars last year, shared her aspirations for 2026 in a recent interview with People published on Tuesday.
“In 2026, I foresee many new beginnings,” she stated. “The last few years have involved significant decision-making about the paths I want to take, and I believe those plans will materialize this year. We’ll be launching a new YouTube segment, Get Real with Me, through Hot Mess Media, and I’m starting my own company. Plus, there are plenty of exciting projects in the pipeline, so it’s set to be a year full of fresh beginnings.”
