Analyzing the Feuds of Salley Carson in Southern Charm Season 11

Austen Kroll previously referred to his Southern Charm costar Salley Carson as the “MVP” of season 11, exclusively telling Us Weekly that “she came to play” — and now, with the season underway, fans are starting to understand his perspective.

Salley, who joined the Bravo cast in season 10, has emerged as a key figure in the current season, which debuted in November 2025. However, not every storyline she has is positive.

Throughout season 11, Salley has drawn attention for her romantic involvement with Craig Conover, particularly after clashing with newcomer Charley Manley over their mutual feelings for him.

Charley is not the only cast member Salley has had conflicts with this season; she has also clashed with Molly O’Connell, Venita Aspen, and others.

Prior to the November 2025 premiere, the cast hinted that Charley Manley and Salley Carson would find themselves in a love triangle with Craig Conover, which eventually evolves into a love trapezoid of sorts. “I don’t even know what the shape is called,” Craig teased exclusively to Us in November, hinting that Austen Kroll and newcomer Whitner Slagsvol would also be involved. “Because there’s no equal sides … and multiple corners.”

In season 11, episode 2, this emerging love dynamic ignites Charley and Salley’s initial significant confrontation as friends.

“What the f***?” Salley exclaimed during a confessional in the November episode, after witnessing Craig swimming with Charley at her “Salley Sells Singles at the Seashore” beach gathering.

Salley later confronted Charley about her actions, only for Charley to deny trying to gain Craig’s attention, stating, “It was not like that at all.”

However, Salley was not convinced. “You’re full of s***. I’m not a f***ing idiot; I can see when someone is flirting and it was right in front of my face,” Salley expressed to the cameras.

In season 11, episode 5, which aired in December 2025, Charley’s feelings for Craig began to deepen, complicating her friendship with Salley. “I do feel like I’m walking on eggshells a little bit with Salley just because of Craig. It’s the only thing we’ve ever fought about,” Charley said in a confessional. “But I can tell there’s something between Craig and I.”

By episode 7, Salley found out that Craig had asked Charley out shortly after he declared her as just a friend. Left blindsided, Salley told Charley, “Have fun on your date, but if he’s going to write me off like that, f*** him.” Salley then accused Craig of manipulating both of them.

In episode 10, airing in February 2026, Salley stirred the pot again with Charley, alleging that Craig told the guys that she was “going to fall in love with him.” Charley brushed it off, expressing disbelief in the rumor.

Molly O’Connell

Molly O’Connell and Salley Carson had a close friendship in season 10, but they started clashing almost immediately in the current season. Molly took issue with Salley trying to stir the pot at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower, revealing how intoxicated Molly was.

During a costume literary party, Molly directly confronted Salley about her motives, resulting in a small argument. In season 11, episode 4, Molly pointed out that Salley was claiming “dibs” on all the single men, a point Salley denied.

Though they briefly resolved their issues, tensions flared again during season 11, episode 5, when Molly discovered that Salley had been telling others about her vaginal rejuvenation surgery. (Venita Aspen had actually disclosed this to Salley, but Molly forgave her instantly.)

“Both Molly and I were bitches to each other,” Salley explained during the December episode after Venita advised her to treat Molly kindly.

Salley Carson expressed her thoughts on friend Venita Aspen’s relationship with Carl Radke. “She has been out with Carl. He is super sweet,” Salley shared on the December 29 episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “I actually think they would be a good fit for each other. I’ve met …”

Molly accused Salley of constantly talking “s***” about her vagina. “You’ve been f***ing s***y,” Salley fired back.

“You are s***y, always, you f***ing a**hole,” Molly yelled, silencing the kitchen. “You’re malicious. You need therapy. Cause you f***ing suck,” she added.

Salley appeared astounded, asserting, “I did not talk s*** about your vagina; I’m sure it’s great.”

Concluding the debate, she told Molly, “Clearly, we’ve both done things behind each other’s backs, and I genuinely apologize for that.”

Molly responded, “I thought we had resolved everything. I felt good about things. I want to be on good terms.”

After weeks of tension, Molly and Salley reconciled during a spa day shown in episode 10. Salley admitted in the February 2026 episode that Venita tried to “pin” them against each other, which indeed worked temporarily.

“Let’s not let that happen again,” Molly advised Salley before they apologized to each other and expressed their love.

Venita Aspen

Between seasons 10 and 11, Venita Aspen and Salley Carson developed a close friendship. However, their dynamic faced challenges at the new season’s beginning as Salley attempted to pursue Craig Conover amid Venita’s conflict with him. (Craig had mentioned on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he was no longer friends with Venita after she reached out to his ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo following their 2024 breakup.)

During the season 11 premiere in November 2025, Venita and Craig avoided each other at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower. In an attempt to lighten the mood, Salley encouraged Venita to speak to Craig so they could all attend an afterparty, which Venita did not appreciate.

“I guess Salley is a girls’ girl until a man is involved,” Venita remarked to the cameras.

Ciara Miller is showing support for Venita Aspen while navigating a rocky start to season 11 of Southern Charm, and her issues with Craig Conover. “Imagine being the only Black girl in a predominantly white cast in the SOUTH,” Ciara, 29, commented on a …

In Salley’s defense, she asserted that she wasn’t crossing any lines. “I don’t personally think it’s breaking girl code to chat with the enemy,” she stated. “If they begin to fight and Craig starts yelling at Venita, I’m stepping in for my girl. But if I’m just having a good conversation with Craig, I don’t believe that’s an issue.”

In episode 5, Molly claimed Venita was “more wary” of Salley because she continued to side with Craig, which aggravated Salley.

“Molly told me you’re wary of me, what the f*** is that about? I believe I’ve been a good friend to you,” Salley told Venita.

Venita kept her composure, explaining, “You make it difficult to be on your side when you’re associating with someone I don’t like.”

The cast of Southern Charm has been delighting Bravo fans since 2014, but their offscreen scandals sometimes overshadow their onscreen drama. The show originally starred Thomas Ravenel, Shep Rose, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Whitney Sudler-Smith, and Jenna King. In season 1, Thomas met Kathryn Dennis, who is nearly 30 years his junior.

While Salley acknowledged that she heard Venita say “I love you,” she admitted, “I don’t want to stop hanging out with Craig.”

The tension escalated when Venita kissed Craig on the cheek before departing his Memorial Day pool party — a gesture made because he was the host.

“You can kiss him on the cheek, but you won’t let me hang out with him?” Salley challenged. Venita responded, “You are doing a lot right now,” before exiting.

“I think it’s f***ing strange that she kisses him goodbye, yet has an issue with my friendship with him,” Salley remarked in a confessional. “Talk about two-faced. What the f***? That’s fake, I’m sorry.”

Salley and Venita’s issues persisted when Venita questioned Salley during episode 7 as to why she hadn’t confided in her about Craig shutting down her hopes of dating him. “I’m not angry with you,” Venita said. Salley replied, “You have no reason to,” and Venita stormed off.

The women attempted to sort out their differences during episode 11 in February 2026, but it quickly escalated into Salley accusing Venita of trying to turn her against Molly.

“Everything I’ve shared with you somehow ends up with others. You tell me things and then I’m the scapegoat,” Salley claimed during a sit-down at Whitner Slagsvol’s family farm.

Venita confided to the cameras, “I feel attacked. I feel betrayed,” after Salley confronted her in the presence of others.

“I just feel like a lot of s*** has become muddled and repeated. It genuinely felt like you were trying to create a divide between us,” Salley remarked, referring to her and Molly. While Salley assured Venita that she cared for her, Venita walked away.

Salley confessed, “I feel so mindf***d by everyone in this group.”

Craig Conover

After showing interest in Craig Conover during the first half of the season, Salley’s relationship with him soured in episode 7. Salley revealed to Craig that she was developing “feelings” for him while they were shopping for chickens, but he told her he only wanted friendship.

Later in January 2026, Austen Kroll revealed that Craig referred to Salley as a “tornado” who brings “chaos” behind her back. Salley confronted Craig, labeling him an “a**hole” for sending mixed signals. “I’ll show him a f***ing tornado,” she reacted after feeling heated about the situation.

In episode 8, Salley challenged Craig, asking why he “wrote me off so soon,” which Craig categorically refuted.

Craig called the accusation “insane,” claiming Austen, his “enemy,” was simply stirring drama. “You believed a guy whose sole intent is to tear me down,” Craig argued, before attempting to reconcile with Salley.

Two episodes later, the dynamics shifted again when Craig countered Salley’s claims that he had been telling everyone Charley Manley was “going to fall in love” with him after their first date. “I haven’t mentioned Charley to anyone,” Craig asserted.

He informed Salley that they would not be as close anymore because he couldn’t trust her. Craig later shared with the cameras that her actions made him feel she wasn’t a “true friend.”

Craig confronted Salley yet again in episode 11, stating, “You keep creating drama in my life. You continue to spread untrue stories about me.”

In a confessional, Salley responded, “Craig is the ultimate gaslighter. He gaslights everyone,” asserting he’s “very manipulative.”

Southern Charm airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
