Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Makes Her Music Video Debut as Her Spitting Image
Angelina Jolie‘s 19-year-old daughter, Shiloh, is making her own mark in the entertainment world as she follows her mother’s footsteps.
Shiloh is set to appear in DAYOUNG’s upcoming music video for “What’s a girl to do,” scheduled to be released later this month.
“What’s a girl to do’ drops April 7 at 6 PM KST | 5 AM ET,” the pop star announced through Instagram on Thursday, April 2. “Check out the ‘What’s a girl to do’ Official MV Teaser 1 on @officialstarship YouTube channel.”
In the YouTube teaser, viewers can catch a glimpse of Shiloh sitting in a bustling room, sporting a burgundy tank top and a braided bun reminiscent of her mother, Jolie, 50.
Shiloh is one of Jolie’s six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt. The couple was married from 2014 to 2016, and after their split, Shiloh legally changed her name to “Shiloh Jolie.” Initially, she and her siblings were known by the last name Jolie-Pitt.
“Shiloh hired her own attorney and funded it herself,” a source exclusively informed Us Weekly in June 2024 concerning the proceedings, which were later granted by a judge.
Another insider revealed to Us that Pitt was “devastated” about Shiloh’s name change.
“To him, it signified more than just a name change,” the second source described at the time. “It represented a deeper estrangement that has been developing for years.”
Shiloh’s siblings—Maddox, 24, Zahara, 21, and Vivienne, 17—have also unofficially dropped “Pitt” from their last names and maintain limited contact with their father.
“Brad’s putting on a brave front, but privately, he’s struggling to cope with [what’s been happening],” a third source told Us in 2024 regarding the actor’s response to the strained family relationships. “They’ve found it challenging to forgive and connect with Brad since the divorce.”
The third insider also mentioned, “Their mom is the focal point of the family, raising them with love and dedication throughout their lives. Once Brad departed, it became very difficult for them to see him engage in conflict with her.”
On Jolie’s part, she has consistently emphasized her commitment to prioritizing her children’s well-being after the divorce. (Jolie and Pitt eventually reached a settlement in December 2024 following eight years of negotiations.)
“You wake up and think, ‘I need to ensure they’re okay. I need to check their mental health,’” Jolie shared with E! News in May 2021. “But honestly, I believe a few years back, it turned around, and they started saying, ‘I need to make sure Mom’s okay.’ They really look after me, and we have a wonderful team. I feel incredibly fortunate.”
