Anne Hathaway Brings Back the Iconic Cerulean Sweater from The Devil Wears Prada
Anne Hathaway has revived a certain iconic sweater from The Devil Wears Prada.
On Monday, July 21, Hathaway, 42, took to TikTok to showcase a nearly identical blue sweater reminiscent of the cerulean knit her character, Andrea “Andy” Sachs, wore when corrected by Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) in the 2006 film. In the video, Hathaway jumped into the frame while brushing her teeth, going makeup-free and flaunting her loosely curled brunette hair.
“Heading to werk #dwp2,” she captioned the post, prompting fans to go wild in the comments section.
“Is that the cerulean sweater??” one follower asked, while another quoted Streep’s line, “It’s not just blue, it’s not turquoise, it’s not lapis. It’s actually cerulean ✨.” A third remarked, “SHE’S WEARING THAT CERULEAN BLUE!!!!” Ashley Benson even chimed in, calling Hathaway’s return of the sweater “iconic.”
On social media, Hathaway also previewed her The Devil Wears Prada 2 style, donning a colorful dress with a checkered pattern in various sizes of blue, pink, plum, and yellow squares. The outfit featured a scoop neck, a sleeveless cut, and a flowy floor-length skirt, complemented by a white straw bucket hat as her hair danced in the wind.

Since starting the filming of the sequel, Hathaway has exhibited her chic style while exploring New York City. On Monday, she was seen in a white racerback tank top tucked into a blue denim skirt that flowed to her ankles, finished with a raw hem. She completed the look with black sandals that matched her dark unbuttoned vest and sunglasses.
According to IMDb, The Devil Wears Prada 2 “follows Miranda Priestly’s struggle against Emily Charlton, her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amidst declining print media while Miranda nears retirement.” Streep, 76, will reprise her role alongside Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci. The film is set for release in May 2026.
