Are Jan Ravnik and Jen Affleck’s DWTS Outfits Inspired by Taylor Swift? (Exclusive)
Dancing With the Stars professional Jan Ravnik has addressed speculation regarding whether his costumes are Taylor Swift-inspired.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Ravnik, 30, discussed his DWTS ensembles, which have been styled in line with the theme of Swift’s Life of a Showgirl album. “I’d say we’re supporting,” he noted, adding that he and his partner, Jen Affleck, plan to “stream” Swift’s album “24/7” when it releases on October 3.
Having previously performed as a dancer on Swift’s Eras Tour, Ravnik remarked, “Ultimately, it’s not just our call; it’s also on the costume department. But we were thrilled with the colors.”
This week, during One-Hit Wonders Night, Ravnik and Affleck, 26, performed a quickstep to A-ha’s “Take On Me.” Their costumes featured mint green hues, with Ravnik sporting a sheer sequin button-down under a vest, paired with pleated pants and matching shoes.
Affleck dazzled in a crystal-studded jumpsuit, featuring a plunging halter neckline and wide-leg satin pants.

During their debut, fans raved about Ravnik and Affleck’s neon orange sequined outfits, perfectly reflecting the theme of Swift’s upcoming album. Ravnik captured attention in a plunging sequin top and white pants, while Affleck sparkled in a glittery halter top paired with a feathered miniskirt. (In her album artwork, Swift, 35, donned dazzling ensembles with feather accents.)

Ravnik also commented on whether he’s heard from Swift since becoming a DWTS pro: “She’s quite busy with new albums,” he said.
This week, Ravnik and Affleck earned a score of 22 out of 30 for their quickstep. They avoided elimination, while Baron Davis and Britt Stewart, along with Corey Feldman and Jenna Johnson, were sent home.
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesdays. Episodes become available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
