Ariana Grande reigns supreme in tweed fashion.
At 31, Grande has truly embraced the elegance of textured fabrics, donning a stunning Chanel mini dress during the Academy Women’s Luncheon hosted by the iconic French brand in Los Angeles on December 10.
Her outfit highlighted just the right amount of skin, featuring a plunging neckline, a chic black-and-white motif, and pockets embellished with pearl beads, pulled straight from the Pre-Spring 2025 collection.
The pop star paired the dress with sheer black tights and classic black Chanel pointed-toe heels, adding a touch of luxury with diamond rings and earrings from the Chanel Coco Crush range.
Grande accentuated her eyes with flirty lashes and softly tinted eyeshadow, which certainly caught attention. The remainder of her makeup included rosy lips, sculpted cheeks, and a hint of highlighter on her nose.
Seated alongside Selena Gomez, who also opted for a tweed outfit, the two stars brought to mind the iconic friendship of Cher Horowitz and Dionne Davenport from the 1995 film Clueless as they posed together for the cameras.

Gomez looked effortlessly stylish in her own Chanel black dress from the same Pre-Spring collection, complete with a white collar and matching cuffs.
On the same day, Gomez shared with Billboard her excitement about her Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress, which coincided with Grande’s nomination. “Ariana sent me the sweetest text at around six in the morning. We exchanged voice messages, and it was incredibly thrilling,” she recounted. (Grande is recognized for her role as Glinda in Wicked, while Gomez earned accolades for her portrayal of Jessi Del Monte in Emilia Pérez. The Golden Globes ceremony will take place on January 5.)
