Aspyn Ovard Responds to Critic Questioning Her Custody of Children

Influencer Aspyn Ovard has responded to a troll questioning her parenting skills.

On Tuesday, July 23, Ovard, 29, posted a screenshot on her Instagram Story showing a user’s reaction to several of her photos.

“When are you ever home lol? Are you ever with your kids? Do you even have custody of them? I swear you left your husband so you could be a PT Mom and leave him to take care of them all the time,” the comment stated, with another adding, “Hanging with a bunch of people who don’t have kids while the husband you left takes care of the girls 24/7. Hope you got everything you wanted out of this.”

In response, Ovard blocked the user before addressing the matter on her Instagram Story. “It honestly makes me laugh that someone took the time to send me this not once but twice hahaha like imagine that being on your to-do list for the day. It genuinely cracks me up.”

Aspyn Ovard and her ex-husband, Parker Ferris, have opened up about her sexuality. “Did you feel like you knew when we were married that I would like girls?” Ovard, 28, asked Ferris, 29, in a TikTok video on Wednesday, December 18, while reading a fan’s question. Ferris noted that Ovard’s revelation wasn’t a […]

Ovard was married to Parker Ferris for nine years before filing for divorce in April 2024 — coinciding with the announcement of their third daughter’s birth. (Ovard and Ferris are also parents to daughters Cove and Lola.)

Following her split from Ferris, the YouTuber expressed her openness to dating women.

“So many people struggle with their sexuality for various reasons,” she shared in a December 2024 TikTok video. “I’ve always been told I can love whoever I want and be whoever I want, and I’ve always known that. At this point in my life, I’m confident in my sexuality.”

She further added, “I’m more confused about straight people because I’m like, ‘How do you guys not want to hook up with girls?’ I really don’t understand.”

Months later, Ovard — who made a guest appearance in season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — reminisced about one of her first intimate experiences with a woman, expressing her excitement for the encounter.

“She made me feel so comfortable. She was aware it was my first time being with a girl,” Ovard shared on a May episode of the “For the Girls With Becca Moore” podcast. “I felt very at ease with her. So it didn’t feel intimidating. I thought, ‘This is so enjoyable.’ It was just sexy.”
