Bachelorette’s Jed Wyatt and Ellen Decker Celebrate the Arrival of Their First Child
Bachelor Nation has welcomed a new addition with the arrival of Jed Wyatt and his wife Ellen Decker’s first child.
“Daisy Jane Wyatt is here🌼🎀,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post on Monday, September 1. They included a lovely, black-and-white image of their newborn wearing a knit onesie adorned with her name and a family photo featuring Decker cradling Daisy with Wyatt smiling beside them.
“This little girl captured our hearts on August 29th,” they wrote in their caption. “There are no words to express the love we felt when we finally met her. God is so good, and we are incredibly grateful for our sweet, healthy girl!”
Bachelorette fans met Wyatt, 31, during season 15, which aired from May to July 2019. Hannah Brown selected him as her final rose recipient, leading to their engagement during the finale. However, they separated shortly after filming when rumors emerged that Wyatt had a girlfriend.
After the controversy, Wyatt began dating Decker in November 2019. The couple became engaged in July 2022 and exchanged vows in July 2024.
In March, Wyatt and Decker announced they were expecting their first child. “This next chapter is titled: mom and dad!!!” they captioned a joint Instagram post from their maternity shoot. “Excited to finally share our little secret 🤍 Baby Wyatt, our greatest blessing arriving summer ‘25 👼🏼.”
In the photos accompanying their announcement, Wyatt and Decker lovingly held her baby bump while showcasing sonogram images, all set against the backdrop of an antique blue pickup truck.
Shortly after, the couple celebrated their joyful news with an Instagram video that began with snapshots from their wedding day, captioned, “I can’t wait to be parents someday.” The compilation transitioned into images from their maternity shoot, emphasizing the word “someday.”
A clip from Decker’s sonogram appeared next with the caption, “You are so so loved 🤍 We are so thankful for this blessing.”
In discussing the video, Decker and Wyatt shared, “We have been waiting for this moment for so long… 🤍 our biggest blessing is coming soon!! 👼🏼.”
Before embarking on their family journey, the couple revealed the beginnings of their relationship in a June 2021 YouTube video. Wyatt had caught Decker’s attention on social media even before his Bachelorette appearance, but they only met after a mutual friend encouraged him to DM her following his split from Brown.
“You were always — and still are — so supportive. When we first started hanging out, I was not in a good place,” Wyatt recounted as Decker added that he seemed “like a different person” back then due to the fallout from his TV experience. “You showed me immense grace, love, and patience.”
