Bachelor’s Juliana is ‘Finding Balance’ Between Her Grant and Personal Life

Bachelor alum Juliana Pasquarosa is learning to balance her relationship with fiancé Grant Ellis while carving out time for herself.

In response to a Q&A on her Instagram Story from Monday, May 12, about how she manages “the balance with prioritizing yourself and your relationship,” Juliana, 28, confessed, “Currently working on this one.”

“I was single for nearly 7 years before I went on The Bachelor,” Juliana shared, along with a gym mirror selfie. “I’m stubborn, a bit of a control freak, and very particular about how I spend my time, so it’s been interesting to learn to let someone into that.”

Juliana accepted a proposal from Grant, 31, during the season 29 finale of The Bachelor, which aired in March. Prior to the proposal, Grant ended things with runner-up Litia Garr — who mentioned she would have “a lot of questions” if she were Juliana, based on what the lead had allegedly promised. Grant apologized to Litia, 31, during the live finale, but later told Us Weekly that she expressed “a lot” of things that he didn’t agree with.

“I’m not gonna stand up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said. But I believe that having more clarity is important — as the Bachelor, you see your final two contestants as potential wives,” he exclusively shared with Us in March. “That’s where some confusion arose. There’s room for interpretation when things are said ‘off camera.’ At that moment, I can’t say much. I’m not going to argue; I just have to accept the conditions and apologize, allowing her to feel how she feels since she’s in a challenging situation and hurt. I get it.”

As Grant and Juliana continue their journey, the couple discussed their plans to relocate to Boston. Juliana highlighted that the conversation about moving to her hometown was “really tough” between her and Grant.

“He knew I’m very close with my family, and moving away from them would be difficult. It doesn’t mean we won’t visit your family in Houston, but since you also have family in New Jersey, the move felt fairly easy and straightforward,” she shared with Us, noting that the couple is opting for a “long engagement” so they can “live life together” before saying their vows. “We need to do some normal things that make planning exciting. We’re coming down from such a thrilling time right now. I don’t want to just maintain that high — I really want to level out for a bit, live normally, and then we can start planning and have fun with it all.”
