Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs Reveal Baby No. 2 with Spooky Halloween Announcement
Bachelor in Paradise stars Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs are thrilled to announce they are expecting their second child, sharing the exciting news with a Halloween-themed announcement.
“Something’s brewing ✨,” Kufrin, 35, and Jacobs, 33, posted on Instagram on Thursday, October 30, along with a video of themselves with their son Benson beside a pretend cauldron. “Another little boo coming April, 2026 👻.”
In the cute footage, Kufrin, Jacobs, and their 2-year-old son acted as if they were casting a spell over the toy cauldron. Kufrin then revealed an ultrasound photo from the pot and shared a kiss with her husband.
In a subsequent clip, Benson donned a skeleton-themed onesie while sitting next to a jack-o-lantern that had “Big Brother” carved into it.
Kufrin recently shared with Us Weekly that she and Jacobs have been contemplating the timing of expanding their family.
“Thomas is not the one who would have to be pregnant and deal with all the changes that come with it,” the former Bachelorette exclusively told Us in April. “When I was pregnant [with Benson], I had to go on anxiety medication, and we increased the dosage just to get through that tough time and keep myself balanced hormonally.”
She added, “The other day, I was thinking, ‘If we’re ready for this, should I consider increasing that dosage?’ For me to be at my best — for myself, my partner, our current toddler, and this new baby — I need to prioritize my well-being. I don’t want to feel too proud to ask my doctor for an adjustment to the medication.”
Despite her concerns, Kufrin expressed that Jacobs is “ready” to be a father of two.
“He’s wanted to be a dad for a long time,” she shared with Us. “Watching him experience moments like taking Benny to baseball games and teaching him how to play catch and dunk a little basketball is really special. It makes it even more meaningful for me because my dad is no longer in my life.”
Kufrin, whose father passed away when she was 19, named Benson after her dad’s hometown in Minnesota.
“Seeing Thomas as a dad is such a beautiful experience,” Kufrin enthused. “He was my best friend and partner before Benson, but now our bond has deepened in a way that’s truly special.”
Kufrin and Jacobs have been together since 2021 after meeting during Bachelor in Paradise season 7. They got engaged in 2022 and had a courthouse wedding in October 2023, just after Benson’s birth.
“We got married three weeks after Benny was born, and honestly, it felt like we were already married,” Kufrin shared with Us in 2024. “In that sense, everything feels the same; the only difference is signing the marriage certificate.”
