Below Deck’s Kyle Stillie Shares His Thoughts on Joining OnlyFans
Below Deck‘s Kyle Stillie was serious about his shift to OnlyFans.
In a recent cover story for Us Weekly, Kyle shared updates on his life after filming season 12, stating, “I’m also studying on my own time — level three sports massage therapy. So it’s just studying on your own time. That’s what I’m focused on right now, along with the OnlyFans venture.”
Kyle made it clear he was “not even” joking about the transition.
“This brings me back to viewing myself from an outside perspective. If I can turn the character of Kyle Stillie — that Scottish guy online — into a potential source of income, while maintaining my sanity and my friends knowing the real me, then I’m not concerned about it,” he explained. “[It] did bother me a bit regarding the narrative — whether on social media or elsewhere — about my identity.”
The deckhand aims to reclaim the narrative, adding, “But people will always talk and judge. I’ve been exposed on TV for free, so why not try to profit from it? I have no shame. I’d be willing to do that for some people for free. It’s not far-fetched to think of making some cash from it.”
After being introduced in season 11, Kyle returned to work for Captain Kerry in season 12 of Below Deck. This season, however, he found himself at the center of the drama after he spread a rumor about hooking up with charter guest Helen Hoey.
When the news reached Kerry, Kyle attempted to backtrack, but the repercussions had already taken hold. Since the show aired this summer, Kyle has continued to humorously address the assumption that he became intimate with Helen off-camera.
“Since filming, I’ve undergone changes. I’ve made adjustments. While I won’t say I’ll stop drinking, I’m more aware of my habits and how I use alcohol. I’m simply more conscious,” Kyle told Us after reflecting on his past behavior. “I wouldn’t say I have a problem. I’d hate to reach 40 and have someone sit me down and say, ‘Mate, you need to rein it in.’ It’s just given me clarity to realize I don’t want to get to that point.”
Although he enjoys his time in yachting, he doesn’t plan to pursue that career path further, stating, “If I were 21, naive, and enthusiastic, I would be going after it. But the realities of the industry are such that — while you don’t have to drink and party — there’s a lot of that involved.”
He added, “I don’t think that if I had ever done Below Deck, I would have recognized that I had a problem. It simply made me more aware of my daily behaviors and how I treat my body — whether I’m abusing it or how I feel about myself — that’s the main takeaway. More than anything regarding my relationships with others.”
