Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Come Together with Their Kids at Baseball Game
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are thoroughly enjoying their journey as co-parents.
The amicable exes were seen together at a baseball game at Boston’s Fenway Park on Friday, July 11.
Video shared via MLB’s X account captured Affleck, 52, and Garner, 53, sitting in the front row as they cheered for the Boston Red Sox against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Their children — Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13 — were also present for the family outing. (However, their eldest daughter Violet did not join the event.)
“What a great Red Sox family right there, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and their kids,” remarked NESN commentator Dave O’Brien as footage aired capturing the moment.
Affleck and Garner were once one of Hollywood’s most iconic couples, having tied the knot in 2005. They were married for a decade before parting ways in 2015, finalizing their divorce three years later.
The stars have maintained an amicable relationship since their split, thriving in their co-parenting dynamic.
“I’m really fortunate to have a fantastic co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful, and we work well together,” Affleck praised in a March interview with GQ.
An insider shared insights into this relationship with Us Weekly in August 2024, affirming that Garner and Affleck prioritize their children.
“Ben and Jennifer are friends, and they share a wonderful co-parenting relationship,” a source disclosed to Us.
The duo has a “mutual understanding that their kids come first,” the insider added, noting that the ex-couple “also get along really well.”
Meanwhile, the Pearl Harbor actor has expressed his love for being a dad over the years.
“I am madly in love,” Affleck shared about fatherhood during a September 2010 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I have the best family … I could not be luckier. I feel I’ve found myself in the right place, and for that, I am immensely grateful.”
The actor has also publicly commended Garner for being a devoted mother to their three children.
“Jen is a superhero mom,” he told E! News in March 2016. “She is an incredible mother, and I’m very fortunate to have her as a partner in co-parenting. We always prioritize our kids, and that’s our focus.”
