Blac Chyna Calls Out Tristan Thompson for Claiming Her Daughter Dream as His Own
Tristan Thompson recently made remarks about Blac Chyna’s 8-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, that appear to have struck a chord with the rapper.
“Dream has one mother, Angela White, and one father, Robert Kardashian. I typically don’t speak out, but I’m finished,” Chyna, 36, said in an Instagram comment on Friday, January 31. “Cease this clout-chasing involving my daughter!”
Chyna and Kardashian, 37, welcomed their sole child together in November 2013 before parting ways less than a year later. (Chyna is also the mother of son King Cairo, 12, whom she shares with ex Tyga.)
“As co-parents, we have joint custody,” she elaborated on her relationship with Kardashian. “We also maintain a wonderful, healthy coparenting relationship.”
Thompson, 33, on the other hand, has two children with Rob’s sister Khloé Kardashian, whom he dated on and off from 2016 to 2021. (Thompson is also the father of son Prince, 8, with Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 3, with Maralee Nichols.)
Earlier this month, Thompson stated that he sees himself as a father figure to two daughters.
“I have two daughters—Dream, my oldest, and True, who is the second oldest,” the NBA player shared in a social media video reposted by Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram account. “Those are my two girls, and I miss you both so much. I love you.”
Thompson and Khloé, 40, are the parents of daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2. The founder of Good American also shares a close bond with her niece Dream. In a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé expressed feeling like a “third parent” to Rob’s daughter, who frequently has sleepovers with True and Tatum. This comment sparked some tension with Chyna, which prompted Khloé to clarify her statements.
“I love ALL of my nieces and nephews beyond words. Dream and I have a special bond. My brother and I are incredibly close,” Khloé explained in a July 2023 Instagram Story statement. “I spend a lot of time with Dream because I’m with my brother often. I love her immensely.”
She added, “I see all of my nieces and nephews as my babies. I even view my sisters as my babies. I take great pride in this affection, as I always have. I genuinely believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life has its ups and downs, and I’m proud that we have a family we can lean on. That’s what family is all about.”
In the meantime, Thompson has not elaborated on his recent remarks regarding having “two daughters,” nor addressed Chyna’s response to his perspective.
