Blake Lively’s Mom Elaine: A Successful Model Post Motherhood After Raising 5 Kids
Blake Lively and her siblings inherited their charm from their mother, Elaine Lively.
On Monday, May 12, Blake’s elder sister, Robyn Lively, took to Instagram to share nostalgic moments celebrating their mother on Mother’s Day. The photos gave fans a glimpse of Elaine, now 77, showcasing her modeling in bikinis, fashionable outfits, and bold makeup looks.
“That’s my M❤️M, everyone. Few are aware, but shortly after embracing her most essential role as a mom to her 5 children, she emerged as a successful model,” Robyn, 53, captioned the heartfelt posts.
She elaborated, “Her beauty is unmatched in every sense. Yet, it transcends mere appearance; it stems from her creativity, talent, fearlessness, intelligence, and, above all, courage.” Robyn noted that Elaine often brought her children along to “print jobs for modeling,” which subsequently helped launch their own careers.
“Soon, they began featuring us (her kids) in the advertisements, which led to me getting an agent,” Robyn recounted. “She would drive me to auditions all across Atlanta. At just 3 years old, I appeared in my first commercial. By 5, I landed a role in a movie of the week.”
Elaine is the mother of Robyn, along with daughter Lori and son Jason, from her previous marriage to Ronnie Lively. She also shares Blake and son Eric with Ernie Lively, born Ernest Wilson Brown Jr.
Blake honors her father’s last name in her haircare brand, which she named Blake Brown.
“Brown is my dad’s [last] name,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in July 2024. “My dad took Lively from my mom. I just thought that was really cool.”
She added, “I’ve only ever been called Blake Lively, but Blake Brown was on my birth certificate and it would appear in legal documents. It was always an identity I never fully embraced, yet it was the most personal identity that people know little about.”
Blake launched her haircare collection in August 2024.
