Bob the Drag Queen’s Dream Cast for The Traitors Season 4: ‘Bring on NeNe!’

Bob the Drag Queen is well-known for his bold approach towards Housewives during his time on The Traitors, but there’s at least one Bravo star he’d love to see in the upcoming season 4.

“If I could choose one Housewife to be on this show, it would be NeNe Leakes on The Traitors,” Bob, 38, shared exclusively with Us Weekly while chatting about his new book, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert. “I was really hoping she would join my season.”

The We’re Here star also expressed interest in having some of his fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race alums on the show.

Ts Madison would be incredible,” Bob mentioned, complimenting the occasional Drag Race judge, and also named a couple of former contestants. “I’d love to see Monét X Change on the show. And Plane Jane would be absolutely fantastic as well.”

Bob became the second Drag Race alum to compete on The Traitors, following Peppermint, who appeared in season 2. Peppermint, a Faithful, was the first contestant to be eliminated in her season, while Bob played as a Traitor but was banished in episode 4.

Some Bravo fans still hold a grudge against him for his role in the downfall of The Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley, who was eliminated in the season 3 premiere largely because of Bob. However, according to the Drag Race champion, he and Dorinda, 60, are now on good terms.

“I actually texted her first,” Bob revealed to Us, referencing their communication after the Traitors reunion. “I reached out before she had the chance to. I learned online that she considered texting me but didn’t go through with it. I said, ‘I’ll be the one to break the ice.’ The exchange was quite sweet, actually. I like Dorinda — and I’ve gotten to know her better now!”

Bob expressed that he “would love to” hang out with Dorinda if they find themselves in the same location. He even intended to invite her to the launch party for his latest book, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert, which was released on Tuesday, March 25.

While some may find it surprising that Bob chose to write a novel instead of a memoir, the reality star insists that the choice was straightforward.

“No one believes me when I say this, but my life isn’t that fascinating,” he joked to Us. “I don’t have much going on outside of work. Everything I do is pretty much online. I write my jokes, go home to play Fortnite, and my life isn’t exactly a bestseller. What, am I going to write about getting a Victory Royale?”

Instead, Bob envisioned a scenario where historical figures come back to life, particularly Harriet Tubman, who engages narrator Darnell to assist her in producing a hip-hop album about her life. Having had a long-standing admiration for Tubman since childhood, Bob quickly decided to focus his book on her.

“Harriet Tubman’s life is indescribable,” he conveyed to Us. “You would need to write a thousand books to get close to capturing her story. She lived nearly to 100, passing away at 91. And she was just 4-foot-11! She carried a powerful pistol on her journeys, not just any firearm but one that could do serious damage. She was a spy and scout for the U.S. military and led military missions.”

When asked about which historical figures he would want to dine with, Bob naturally picked Tubman, although he admitted he’d feel “intimidated” — and might realize they have some differences.

“She was very religious,” he noted. “I’m not at all. Anyone who watched Traitors will understand that.”

Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert is currently available. Both hardcover and audiobook versions (including two original songs) can be found at readthedragqueen.com.
