Bradley Cooper Delivers Cheesesteaks to Eagles Fans Ahead of the Super Bowl
Bradley Cooper is a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, proudly showcasing his love for the team in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl LIX by serving cheesesteaks.
The Hangover star, aged 50, partnered with Chef Danny on Friday, February 7, to distribute Philly cheesesteaks to enthusiastic fans in New Orleans through their food truck, Danny and Coop’s.
Chef Danny, whose actual name is Danny DiGiampietro, shared that they aimed to “bring some Philly flavor to the fans in New Orleans” leading up to Sunday’s game.
“We seized a fantastic chance to collaborate with Visa to celebrate small businesses that make vibrant cities like this one,” he told People on Friday.
Danny and Coop’s Cheesesteaks launched in December 2023 in New York City, garnering rave reviews. Cooper was present to serve steaks the previous week before heading to New Orleans. His food truck is collaborating with Visa on their Champions of Small Business Initiative, aimed at supporting small businesses in the Super Bowl host city during the week of the event.
As the Eagles gear up to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch from two years ago, Cooper has been making the rounds to rally fellow fans. He made a surprise appearance on Today on Tuesday, February 4, where he gifted tickets to the game to a young Eagles fan named Declan LeBaron, who battles systemic juvenile arthritis.
“You’re going to the Super Bowl, baby! Super Bowl! Let’s go!” Cooper exclaimed live on air as confetti fell around them.
Declan also enjoyed the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory over the Washington Commanders after a viral moment with influencer MDMotivator.
“For that entire day, we managed to forget everything he endures,” said his mother Jillian. “He experiences pain frequently and has numerous doctors’ appointments, so we could just savor the moment and revel in his fairy tale come true.”
Cooper has actively followed the Eagles during their playoff journey, attending Philadelphia’s victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round alongside girlfriend Gigi Hadid. He later took his seven-year-old daughter, Lea, whom he shares with ex Irina Shayk, to the game against the Commanders.
Super Bowl LIX is set to kick off on Fox at 6:30 p.m. ET from Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans.
