Britney Spears Praises Son as a Genius After His Piano Performance for Her
In the early hours of Tuesday, March 11, pop sensation Britney Spears took a moment away from her typical dancing videos to post a clip featuring one of her sons.
The clip captured Spears, 43, and her son Jayden James having fun, as he playfully echoed her words from behind the camera after finishing a piano performance for her.
In her caption, Spears referred to her son as “a genius.”
“I am in awe of him,” she added. “I can’t believe he’s mine!!! I was genuinely worried that this isn’t normal!!!
This video follows Spears’ Christmas announcement about reuniting with her 18-year-old son Jayden.
The pop star labeled it as the “best Christmas of my life.”
At that moment, Spears expressed her overwhelming emotions, saying, “I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years!!! Tears of joy and literally in shock every day, koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!! I’m speechless thank you Jesus!!!”
Before reconnecting, Spears’ sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, had been residing in Hawaii with their father.
In a 2022 interview with ITV News, Jayden referred to his father’s home as a “safe place” and a refuge from the “emotional trauma” both he and his brother faced due to Spears’ legal challenges at the time.
Even then, Jayden expressed his desire to reunite with his mother, mentioning he believed their relationship could be healed with “a lot of time and effort.”
The dynamics of Spears’ relationship with her eldest son, Sean Preston, 19, remain uncertain.
Later, the proud mother uploaded another video showcasing Jayden playing a piano that is situated in her foyer.
“That’s sick,” said an impressed Spears as Jayden demonstrated his remarkable musical talent.
Spears has spoken about Jayden’s passion for playing the piano following his interview with ITV in 2022.
In her response, she expressed to her son, “I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life.”
“My love for my children knows no bounds,” she articulated in the caption. “Continue playing your beautiful talent on the piano… You and your brother are exceptional, and I’m immensely proud to call you mine.”
