Britney Spears Shares Rare Photo with Preston Following DUI Incident

Britney Spears is enjoying quality time with her oldest son, Preston, following her recent DUI incident.

On Sunday, March 29, Spears shared photos on Instagram, appearing cheerful as she posed beside her 20-year-old son, tilting her head to the side. Preston sported a closed-mouth smile while wrapping his arm around his mother’s shoulder.

Spears styled her long blonde hair down, wearing a pink cropped top and black sunglasses, while Preston kept it casual in a white T-shirt. In another photo, Preston remained expressionless as Spears gazed straight ahead.

She captioned the post, “🌹🗡️🌹⛳️.”

This update comes after the singer was arrested earlier this month in Ventura County, California, “on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs,” as stated in a press release from the California Highway Patrol.

She was taken into custody late on March 4 and went to a hospital to check her blood alcohol content before being booked and released the following morning.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” said Spears’ representative to Us Weekly at the time. “Britney plans to take the necessary steps to comply with the law, and we hope this marks the beginning of the much-needed change in her life. We want her to receive the help and support she deserves during this challenging time.”

The statement also highlighted that Spears is supported by her sons, Preston and Jayden, 19, as well as friends and family. (Spears shares her children with ex Kevin Federline.)

“Her boys will be spending time with her. Her loved ones are working on a long-awaited plan to ensure her well-being for future success,” the statement concluded.

Spears is set to appear in court on May 4, according to online court records. Following her DUI incident, Us reports that Spears has been maintaining sobriety and attending AA meetings. The publication also reached out to Spears’ representative for comments at the time.

After deactivating her Instagram account following the arrest, Spears made her return to social media on Friday, March 27, with a video featuring Jayden.

“Thank you everyone for your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹. Stay kind!!!” Spears captioned her March 27 Instagram post, where she and Jayden posed in front of a mirror.
