Brittany Mahomes is feeling emotional about her eldest child’s recent milestones.
“Sterling’s first haircut 🥺😭,” Mahomes, 29, shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, February 12, posting a picture of her daughter’s blonde curls cut to bits on the floor.
Brittany has a daughter, Sterling, 3, and shares a son, Bronze, 2, with her husband, Patrick Mahomes. The couple also welcomed their daughter Golden, who arrived in January.
In another post, Brittany expressed her amazement that it was “Bronze’s turn” for a haircut too. A before-and-after image showcased Sterling’s hair, cut to mid-back, whereas Bronze’s light curls were significantly shorter.
The Mahomes family recently returned to Kansas City from New Orleans, where they attended Patrick’s game in the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9.
Patrick, 29, is the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, who sadly lost the championship game 40-22 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brittany attended the NFL event wearing a chic white corset paired with matching jeans that had “Chiefs” emblazoned down one leg.
Sterling and Bronze sported matching red T-shirts featuring “15” in the center, representing their father’s jersey number. Bronze paired his outfit with khakis adorned with their family name, while Sterling’s black bottoms had a striking red feather trim. She completed her look with Chiefs-themed hair accessories.
Brittany took her two eldest children to meet Patrick on the NFL sidelines before heading to watch the game from a private suite, joined by Patrick’s parents, Pat Sr. and Randi, as well as his siblings Jackson and Mia.
Brittany frequently brings her kids to cheer on Patrick during his Chiefs games.
“It’s been a special journey, with everyone here in Kansas City—from the organization and community to the team and family,” Patrick remarked last month about having Sterling and Bronze watch him play. “I cherish those moments. I have strong memories from my dad’s World Series games when I was 5. These are experiences I’ll treasure with my family for a lifetime.”
He added, “We’re expanding our family, but [I] hope we can take a break from growing for a while. It’s amazing to participate in these significant games, and the Kansas City community has welcomed me to be a part of their family.”
