Cara Delevingne Left Waiting Outside Stella McCartney Fashion Show

Cara Delevingne encountered an unexpected delay at the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week, as she had to wait in line after staff did not recognize her.

The 33-year-old model, clad in a stylish black “Come Together” tank top, jeans featuring lace-up leather chap panels, and oversized sunglasses, seemed exasperated as she stood with her hands on her hips behind a cluster of attendees in a video currently trending on TikTok from the event held on Tuesday, September 30.

After waiting for a short while, she approached the entrance where a staff member was collecting QR codes from guests.

“OK, I’m just going to walk in, this is getting ridiculous,” Delevingne exclaimed, then inquiring, “Can I just go in?”

However, her attempt to sneak past the line was met with a request for a QR code. “She doesn’t have one,” a member of her team appeared to confirm, as Delevingne remarked, “This is just absurd.”

It wasn’t until she removed her sunglasses that the staff member recognized her, apologized, and finally allowed her to enter the venue.

“Is that alright? Thank you,” Delevingne said as she hastily made her way inside.

“I think she’s frustrated because being forced to wait in line meant having paparazzi in her face for ten minutes instead of going in and sitting down,” speculated another social media user. “She’s not an influencer or press; she was a front row guest who should have been ushered in immediately without any of this hassle,” a third commentator remarked.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Delevingne and McCartney’s fashion brand for comments.

Before making her front row debut, Delevingne showcased a daring sheer black lace gown by Georges Chakra for L’Oréal during Paris Fashion Week.

The Suicide Squad actress was announced as an official global brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris in September 2024. Following this, she discussed her evolving beauty philosophy and how she has explored her personal style through the years.

“You really have to get to know yourself because if you understand who you are and who you aren’t, then self-love is inevitable in some form,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s about acceptance and living with pride and honesty while truly discovering who you are. It takes time, experimenting – trial and error and mistakes – but I believe that’s the enjoyable part.”
