Chelsea Handler revealed on a January 2023 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she had inadvertently taken the medication for Type 2 diabetes, which is primarily prescribed to enhance glycemic control. She shared that her anti-aging doctor had prescribed semaglutide, another term for Ozempic, but she ceased using it upon gaining further insight.
“I’m no longer using it. That’s just too reckless,” Handler emphasized. “I may be an irresponsible drug user, but I refuse to take a medication meant for diabetics.”
Kyle Richards, on the other hand, faced accusations of utilizing the diabetes medication in January 2023 after she shared a photo flaunting her toned abs in a swimsuit. “I am NOT taking Ozempic. I never have,” Richards stated on Page Six’s Instagram at that time.
