Celebrities Who Named Their Pets After Other Iconic Stars: A Photo Collection
Choosing the ideal pet name can be challenging, but many celebrities find inspiration in fellow stars.
“I have a fish named Kieran Culkin,” Alexandra Daddario shared with E! News during a red carpet event at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February 2022, referring to the Succession star. “So, I’m excited to see Kieran Culkin [tonight] and maybe share that with him.”
Daddario, who is also a devoted dog mom to Levon, is not alone in seeking inspiration from celebrity names. Mario Lopez, along with his wife Courtney Lopez and their three kids, welcomed their third French bulldog in March 2020, choosing the athletic name Oscar De La Hoya Lopez as a tribute. (The family’s other Bulldogs are named Julio César Chavez Lopez and Juanita Manuela Marquez Lopez.)
Oscar De La Hoya was even flattered by the pup’s name, which Mario confirmed during a March 2020 episode of Access Hollywood.
