Chase Chrisley Claims Conflict with Savannah Prevents Him from Visiting Parents
Chase Chrisley’s ongoing conflict with sister Savannah Chrisley persisted following the release of their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, from prison.
“I haven’t been able to visit much because of Savannah. She and I just can’t get along,” Chase, 29, stated during episode 7 of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which aired on Tuesday, September 16. “Whenever I go over there, it makes everything uncomfortable.”
In a conversation with Nanny Faye, Chase expressed his reluctance to create discomfort for Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, because of his disagreements with Savannah, 28. (Todd and Julie spent 28 months incarcerated after being convicted of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in 2022. They were pardoned by President Donald Trump and released in May.)
Chase mentioned that he’s now seeing his parents “more than during their time in prison” since their release, while also addressing the strain with his sister.
“Savannah’s turning it into a nightmare. I’m taking any opportunity to see my mom and dad,” he added. “My dad hasn’t missed a beat; he’s busy.”
It was mentioned in a previous episode that Chase resides with Julie’s parents, Pam and Harvey Hughes.
“I’ve had the chance to spend one-on-one time with him,” Chase noted. “I’ve also spent quality time with my mom, and I feel very fortunate.”
Chase shared in his conversation with Nanny Faye that he is uncertain if his issues with Savannah can be repaired.
“We’re not on speaking terms,” he elaborated. “She has outright said she doesn’t want a relationship with me.”
The tensions between Savannah and Chase have been highlighted throughout the Lifetime docuseries since its premiere earlier this month.
“After Mom and Dad went away, she completely excluded me from the family. She has no idea where I stand,” he continued. “Savannah’s a hypocrite. I care for her, but she needs to stay out of my affairs. If she doesn’t talk about me, I won’t talk about her, and we can leave it at that. I just want her to let me be. It’s absurd that I can’t visit Mom and Dad without it being awkward due to her.”
Savannah claimed in an earlier episode that Chase “has not been supportive” during Todd and Julie’s time in prison.
Todd and Julie addressed the feud between Chase and Savannah in Tuesday’s episode.
“Where Chase and Savannah currently stand is an uncomfortable situation, but it’s not something I’m getting involved with,” Todd stated in his confessional. “They’re both my kids, and I love them equally.”
