Chloe Fineman Opens Up About Facial Injuries from ‘Botched’ Cosmetic Procedures
Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman opened up about the often-harsh reality following cosmetic treatments.
On Sunday, January 4, Fineman, 37, took to Instagram to share a humorous video showcasing the aftermath of her previous med spa experiences. A series of nostalgic photos revealed the comedian’s face, marked by swelling, redness, scaly skin, bruising, and other signs clearly resulting from her pursuit of beauty.
“Can we normalize having a ‘Botched’ iPhone photo album?” she quipped in her post’s caption, while the video elaborated on her journey. “Every year, countless women will claim they’re heading to visit family or go on a trip to Connecticut,” Fineman narrated in her video. “But in reality, they’re going all out at a med spa, undergoing wild treatments like laser therapy, salmon injections, Sculptra, or whatever this was.”
Continuing her narration, Fineman added, “These women will isolate themselves like bears in caves while snapping hundreds of selfies to send to friends and family who’ll lie and say, ‘It’s not that bad.’ This year, I resolve to break this cycle. Just kidding, I’m going Friday.”
Fans flocked to the comments to express their approval, including notable figures such as Chris Pratt, who responded with a crying laughter emoji, and renowned makeup and skincare professionals like Joanna Vargas, who has worked with names such as Naomi Watts and Julianne Moore.
Fineman has shown her passion for beauty on social media before, previously sharing a video of her extensive skincare collection on Instagram in April. “This hoarding of products. Am I a witch? Casting spells with all these potions?” she joked at the time. “It’s wild. I have like seven face oils. I don’t know which one to use. Who knows?”
She humorously concluded that her skincare enthusiasm had reached a concerning level. “I realize that there are seasons and trends, and this may not be relatable, but this is insane and I need assistance. I need a skin-tervention,” Fineman stated in the video.
Fineman’s passion for aesthetics also extends to fashion. In September, she told Us Weekly that her debut clothing line with the popular brand MOTHER, the Chloe Fineman x MOTHER capsule, was partly inspired by her love for vintage denim. “I own nearly as many pairs of jeans as I do wigs,” she shared, revealing, “In the hundreds, some in my apartment and others in storage. I think I even have jeans in my oven [where she also keeps her wigs].”
In May, Fineman gave fans a sneak peek into her luxurious West Village, Manhattan apartment, allowing real estate influencer Caleb Simpson to film a TikTok tour of her space. She disclosed her monthly rent of $5,500 while humorously pointing out the apartment’s small flaws. “Strategically, I’m thinking, ‘It’s falling apart. You cannot raise my rent,’” she joked in Simpson’s video.
