Chris Hughes Surprises JoJo Siwa with Roses During Affectionate Outing
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes seem to be getting even closer.
A collection of images released by TMZ on Sunday, May 25, showcased the duo reuniting at London’s Heathrow Airport earlier that day, where Hughes, 32, greeted Siwa, 22, with a bouquet of pink and red roses.
Siwa, who ignited romance rumors with Hughes after their appearance in April’s 24th season of Celebrity Big Brother UK, was spotted embracing Hughes in the photographs while he kissed her forehead. Another shot captured her leaning into his chest as he wrapped an affectionate arm around her shoulder.
Additional photos displayed the couple holding hands while walking through the airport, with another image showing them in a car park where Hughes tenderly cupped Siwa’s face as they smiled at each other.
As they walked through the car park, Hughes held Siwa’s hand, guiding her, while the “Karma” singer carried her vibrant flowers. This affectionate outing took place just a few days after Siwa publicly discussed her relationship with Hughes at the grand opening of Universal Studios’ Epic Universe in Orlando on Friday, May 23. Speaking to Jake Quickenden and Keltie Knight in a video shared via E! News, the Dance Moms star confirmed that her relationship with Hughes was “going great.”
Siwa and Hughes met during their stint on Celebrity Big Brother UK and captured attention for their close bond. Throughout the season, they were often seen cuddling in bed, exchanging secret notes, and giving each other makeovers.
The Love Island alum also stood up for Siwa when she faced homophobic remarks from fellow contestant Mickey Rourke.
After Rourke’s dismissal from the show, Siwa opened up about her sexuality to Hughes, revealing that she no longer identified strictly as a lesbian, but as queer.
Once the reality series concluded, Siwa ended her relationship with then-partner Kath Ebbs, explaining to Us Weekly in a May cover story that her companionship with Hughes had “absolutely nothing to do with my breakup.”
“We still talk all the time, obviously, naturally,” Siwa told Us regarding her relationship with Hughes at that moment. “Now that we’re out of the house, we just exist, and it is what it is. We’re happy, and we have each other. It’s a wonderful little special friendship that we have.”
On Wednesday, May 21, Siwa sparked romance speculation by sharing cozy photos of the two on Instagram. “This year’s birthday week was more magical than anything🤍🪄,” Siwa captioned her post. “Full of surprises, family time, performing, chilling, laughing, loving, smiling, and good meaningful cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing🤍 a week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
The next day, the couple was photographed sharing a kiss in a pool during their vacation in Mexico, according to images obtained by The Sun.
