Chris Pratt Reveals His Son Jack, 12, Shed Tears While Watching The Electric State
During a conversation about his upcoming film The Electric State with Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt revealed his son’s thoughts on the movie.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, shared on March 16, Pratt mentioned that his 12-year-old son, Jack, who he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, was “pretty pumped” about his involvement in the film alongside Brown.
“Yeah, he’s pretty excited, but he plays it cool,” Pratt, 45, added.
Before the film’s release on Netflix, Pratt and Jack had a chance to watch it together.
Pratt was taken aback by how his son reacted to the movie.
“At the end, he said, ‘Yeah, you made me cry.’ He added, ‘I actually cried. I’ve never cried at a movie before, but I cried,’” Pratt shared with Entertainment Tonight.
“That was really heartwarming,” Pratt remarked. “He’s the type of kid who doesn’t express his excitement openly, but I can tell he’s thrilled, you know.”
Without spoiling anything, Pratt mentioned that his son’s tears were due to the film’s conclusion.
“There’s this moment at the end of the film that really touched him,” he teased.
In a conversation with the Christian Post earlier this month, Pratt opened up about how he made a promise to God when Jack was born prematurely, weighing just 3 pounds, 10 ounces.
“He faced numerous challenges,” Pratt recounted. “I prayed fervently to God. I was in a spiritually transitional phase during that time and didn’t fully grasp everything. I made another deal with God: ‘I’m sorry, God, here I am once more, seeking your grace.’”
Pratt said that once God “saved” his son, it “strengthened” his faith.
Along with Jack, Pratt shares three additional children with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger (whom he wed in 2019): Lyla, 4, Eloise, 2, and Ford, 4 months old.
