Chrishell Stause Hopes the ‘Traitors’ Castle Had a Glam Squad
Chrishell Stause expressed her desire for one adjustment in the Traitors castle.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Stause, 43, revealed behind-the-scenes insights from the third season of the murder-mystery show, noting that the cast had to manage their own hair and makeup. “I would’ve been thrilled to have glam in the castle, but [host] Alan [Cumming] [did] not permit us to,” the TV star remarked.
“At least in Selling Sunset, you get to relax in a chair and have glam,” she added.
Despite doing her own hair and makeup, Stause still dazzled. One of her most notable outfits was a pink Balmain dress with black polka dots, previously worn by Margot Robbie, Gisele Bündchen, and Alix Earle. The dress featured long sleeves, shoulder pads, a plunging neckline, and floral details at the waist and bust.
Stause complemented her look with platform black sandals and a voluminous half-up hairstyle. She also had the opportunity to showcase her makeup skills, creating a complete look with long lashes, bronzed cheeks, and pink lips.
Stause further compared Selling Sunset with Peacock’s The Traitors in her conversation with Us, revealing that she became deeply engaged in the murder mystery game — even with little sleep to spare.
“We typically filmed from 8 a.m. until late — one time, I got home at 2:00 a.m.,” she explained to Us. Although waking up early to film challenges was tiring, Stause made sure to get glammed up and dressed elegantly.
“Honestly, I truly cherished the experience; it made you feel like you couldn’t leave,” she reflected. “I absolutely loved the game; anyone would feel devastated to exit. But on the flip side, your body also feels exhausted.”
When comparing Selling Sunset to The Traitors, Stause found the latter to be less strenuous. “Even with no sleep and being without my phone, I would still prefer someone to target me in that manner rather than my actual family and friends,” she stated, emphasizing that with Selling Sunset, she often faces online criticism regarding her personal life. “Selling Sunset is more taxing.” But at least there’s glam involved!
