Collin Gosselin Reveals Mom Kate’s Alleged Affair with Bodyguard
Collin Gosselin is addressing allegations regarding his mother’s affair with her former bodyguard.
On Wednesday, September 24, Collin expressed his feelings through Instagram Stories, stating, “What truly disturbs me is that my mom [Kate Gosselin] had an affair with our bodyguard back in 2009, and for years shared hotel rooms with him during family vacations, while I was stuck in an adjoining room!”
The 21-year-old reflected, “Now everyone perceives her relationship with him as a charming romance. Meanwhile, my dad suffered death threats and was ostracized by the public for ‘having an affair’ and ‘abandoning his children’.”
Collin, one of the sextuplets born to Kate and her former husband Jon Gosselin, urged Kate, “I hope she doesn’t try to downplay this. Just be honest and come forward.”
Earlier that day, Jon, 48, shared a photo on Instagram featuring Kate, 50, and her former bodyguard, Steve Neild.
“Guess who truly destroyed the marriage,” he commented. “Read for yourself.”

Jon also included a screenshot from a Page Six article published that reported on Kate and Neild’s new relationship. “Maybe people will finally listen when I speak!!!” he added in the caption.

Jon and Kate have not spoken to each other for years. They wed in 1999, welcoming twins Madelyn and Cara the following year. In 2004, they expanded their family with six additional children: Collin, Aaden, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, and Joel. Three years later, they began filming a TLC reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, which ran for five seasons.
Jon and Kate finalized their divorce in 2009. Us previously reported that Jon was allegedly unfaithful during their marriage, leading Kate to file for divorce. (Jon has denied these allegations.)
“I’m not one for drama, and I’m really busy with college, work, and managing my business, so please don’t assume I thrive on this,” Collin remarked Wednesday. “However, I feel deeply about the issue of infidelity and then placing the blame elsewhere.”
Collin added, “People claim that my dad and I are fixated on my mom. We’re not. We’ve endured the repercussions of a narcissist and shared our tears. So no, we won’t just make TikToks and act like everything is fine when we still carry our pain from the past.”
He expressed, “I love you, Dad,” and then seemed to direct his remarks at Kate, challenging her recent statement about dating someone for “a little over a year.”
“What about the vacations where I had to sleep on a hotel cot while you were with Steve?” Collin alleged. “Or those times I was in an adjoining room while you shared one with him? What about when you appeared on Kate Plus Date, but Steve’s home address matched yours?”
In closing, he stated, “You’ve BEEN with him. You told me I destroyed our family when you couldn’t remain loyal to my dad. I’m not trying to shame you. But you fail to understand that Dad and I have shared tears over the hurt. I’m finished being silent.”
